not rly, softer compound need more grip to take temperature, wich lacks in wet condition, also softer compound are made to dissipate more heat then harder, again, for more grip more heat in dry situation, that's why hader is better

@@Frizke97 I'm afraid you are misinformed. The heat comes from the compound of the tyre flexing. This is true whether there is grip or not. And its also why wet tyres overheat when it dries out (The tread allows for a lot of movement). The softer the compound, the more flexing is possible. In engineering terms there is more strain in the rubber. Strain causes a shear condition which causes friction within the compound and therefore heat. When they talk about the tyres "falling off the cliff" what is meant is that there is not enough rubber left to creat this shear condition and the tyre temperature plummets rapidly meaning no grip. In wet conditions it becomes harder and harder to generate heat in the tyres so the softer compounds are better as they will stay warmer for longer. The other bonus is that due to the lack of grip the softer compounds will last longer than normal. Best of both worlds....

It’s also worth noting that the softer tires have a lower optimal temperature range, so it’s easier to keep them warm enough to be somewhat fast in damp conditions. This is exasperated by the fact that the Pirelli tires just don’t work when they’re too cold or hot.

Look at Hamilton in Hockenhien, when it started raining he had the softest compound on whereas Vettel, Raikonnen and Bottas had harder compounds and Hamilton was on some laps 3 seconds quicker

The harder tires are generally preferred in changing conditions due to their working ranges. The softer compounds need to get hotter to work, and will degrade far more quickly if too cold. Seems like Codies actually got this one right.

@@andrewholaway4113 Soft tires need lower temps to work and heat up much more quickly you have it the wrong way round. It's better to use softer tires because you can keep them in their optimal range more easily.

@@buhbih4218 No, it also applies if you sit in the garage and the AI set a time. So if you sit and wait at 1x speed it'll be the same as if you sat and waited at 30x speed.

In real life this is correct but in the games for some reason the harder tires seem to work better. Also I'm not sure you can adjust tire pressure in F1. I thought it was regulated but I could be wrong

Rusko181 one of the reasons why I’m not watching aarava anymore after watching a couple of his videos.

Um cara aí if you actually watch his career more, especially the singapore grand prix at his season 1 2018, you’ll notice that pretty much he bottled the race purposely. He was supposed to do only 2 stops in which he said it himself even before the race, but out of nowhere he made a 3 stop why? Cause he knows he’s on a team where through half way of the career mode even at season 1, he could get 1st place or straight podiums easily. That’s why some people say that his videos on career mode are scripted. I like how Tiametmarduk keep the originality of his career mode videos, makes it realistic and original. Just hoping that Tiametmarduk will go to Williams for the next team to raise them back from being backmarkers.

Jojo Divas nooooo Force India or Force one, replace Ocon and hope the game some how puts him in a Mercedes. Perez would be a good level team mate to see how he is performing and engine is good base just needs work across the team. Would be a sideways move to another midfield team before 3rd season step up to one of the big 3

It's not a theory, it's how it worked in last year's game. In real life you're right, softer is better in those conditions but in f12017 harder tires performed better in those kind of conditions
