Well irl i think intermediate should be like 12 seconds slower on a dry track, and that was what he needed, but its the AI. It was a legit call imo.

He would probably spin and crash if he stayed on intermediates.

If the AI didn't have that massive traction controll, they would be probably 20 seconds slower than Ben on intermediate tyres. #JustCodemastersThings. They would probably spin, because the track was bone dry.

As bad as he was struggling, I don't think staying out would have done him any better or worse. Plus, in real life, those inters would have been gone on Vettels car and I doubt you can do 2 laps on wet tires when the track is dry, especially not keeping the pace Vettel did. But truthfully, the spin outs is what cost Ben the most.

If it wasnt a codemasters game, those inters wouldve overheated to like 110°C where it is impossible to drive on them, and it should be at least 15 secs slower.

Funny how people make the argument "In real life, those intermediates wouldn't have lasted and this tire change would've worked". Well, this isn't real life. If Vettel was doing better in those conditions on the intermediates than Ben, you might want to assume the other AI drivers will do the same. Tyre change or not, he wouldn't have won the race. But he could've stayed ahead of Hamilton for those two laps had he stayed on the inters, because he had a sizable lead over him. And Hamilton and Weber are ahead in the driver championship. Vettel is behind Ben. Staying ahead of Hamilton was the important thing here. Even if it's just making up two points.

Well inters can be up to 15 secs a lap slower. And with high tyre wear, it was worth the risk
