Well your engineer can move with you but say what's your lad inside the team Carl? I think he should change from team to team and give you the choice of like a few people to swap Jeff and Emma with
Would like to see it harder to get into the bigger teams. work your way up and have to do try outs for a new team. Right now you can get into any team to easily.
ghostfire90 just dont sign with the Big teams then? I think it is nice of codies to give the player the choice. Some want to win straight away and some want to build their career from a small team and up
It would be nice to have a co-op for career mod, like in f1 2012. But same as single player but with more story so you can play with a friend in same team.
You do realise that there is not that much difference inside the game between a 1 wing and a 11 wing? It´s like in reality. The team comes with a somewhat optimised set up and configuration to the track. You only get a very small margin on how much you can actualy change something so important as Wing´s. Let´s say.. The whole spectrum goes from 1 to 100. In monza you get wings 1 - 11. In Monaco 89 - 100. Spa maybe 7 - 18. And evrything else.. Is somewhere in between - which ever wing suits the circuit most.
I'd like to have the option of showing different Delta times, such as my weekend best, best on a particular tire, session best, as well as these options for my team-mate, rival or the overall fastest. It would help with figuring out where time is being gained and lost.
I think a really good addition for the game it might be too much for the game but linking to number 5 about practicing pit stops I think it would be cool if inbetween long races like between Hungary and Spa if you could go to teams factory and practice pit stops there and see what updates that car may have over the summer break and maybe have the ability to discuss it in the garage a bit like moto gp which allows you to sit down in the garage with your engineer and set the bike up I think it will fit the F1 game really well
I wish that when you do a race with classic cars you can select the cars that will take part in the race, I can not see a f2004 racing along with a car of 2010, it is too unbalanced
If you leave too early from your pitstop that your wheel falls off... similar to Sainz in Monza and having start practices beforer you leave the pits if you want that in free practice.
I would like multiple classic cars from each season (maybe the best team, a midfielder and a bottom team) and some older cars Edit: RIGHT, THATS IT. Alex, you’re now replacing Anthony Davidson.
to expand upon the cool down lap idea: while you’re running the lap, your engineer should give you his reaction to the race, and then we get the choice between a couple different responses, and your answers can affect team morale/team rep, similar to the interviews.
Specialised practise programmes having 6-12 practise programmes with 1/3 or 1/4 being each of the development areas and then the quali and race bonus being up to you
@@davidweatherston562 not like that just the system that you got a lot of opportunities to celebrate your win like in fifa. Not the emotes just the system. Imagine like Seb steps out of his car and shows his seb finger
i like the celebration thing with the emotes but maybe instead the emotes are different depending on the veteran/rookie bar or the showmanship/sportsmanship bar.
Maybe like a constructor career where you are more focused on the development of car with R&D points from both drivers or maybe you can switch drivers between races.
On No. 6, in F1 2006/CE, Martin Brundle was a commentator alongside James Allen (who was in Croft’s role atm except for ITV as it was then), so that could theoretically be a thing
What I want in F1 2020 is to hear the little transmission whine as the cars do their thing. It’s a small thing but would make the cars all sound a little better
I feel like the possible failures could go deeper into stuff like why you choose a team and decide between a team that has a fast car, Reliable car, or a mixture in between. And it makes it a challenge that you have to work the the better teams through the lower odds teams
More changeable weather during race. I'm sick of doing a whole race in the rain without interesting strategies. The most we currently get is dry to wet or vice versa. We need more like : Lap 1-4 : heavy rain (full wets) Lap 5-9 : light rain (inters) Lap 10-17 : dry Lap 18-24 : light rain (inters) Lap 25-28 : damp/dry track (some drivers may risk to continue with used inters)
Tyre flat spot. If you have a big lockup you can destroy your tyres. Where you get a vibration through the wheel. You can either change tyres or drive with a vibration.
The team mate buying r&d instead of that you could tell your team what you'd like to focus on and they could possibly upgrade a random component withing that part of the r&d tree? Ratger than just relying on your points it shows the team are looking to improve the car too and are wanting to be ahead of the competition
I believe the R&D of the cars should be based on engine specs, aero packages, and general car chassis package. Thus, any points spent on engine upgrades would go towards you building your B-Spec engine to be introduced around the Canadian GP. Then the ability to work on aero packages and switching between packages, i.e work on drag reduction package for Spa and Monza, and high downforce packages for Mexico and Monaco. Lastly, on the chassis side the ability to upgrade the clutch for race starts, and maybe the ability to specify the weight redistribution in a watered down effect of the old ballast adjustment.
Team Orders! Similar to F2 you can be told to move over for your teammate and you can either agree on team radio or ask for like a lap or 2 more like some teams do
A definite suggestion would be to not have option to choose top teams at the start of a career, to get in the mindset of having to prove urself and fight for your career. This would make it much more intriguing
For example, older racing circuits. For example, Bueno Aires, San Marino's old version of Spa Francorchamps, Germany, UK. Also refueling on a voluntary basis. All season F2 and F3.Multiple kinds of celebration rider on stage or in a monopost. Accidentally spoiling a monopost
I think there should be pre season testing and you can upgrade your car "design" your car like more topspeed or more downforce and you can really feel the difference.
I don’t think driving in the pit lane is going to happen. Codies have put so much effort into getting the pit crew and the stop procedure to look good, and adding free driving in the pit lane would just make people run over the crews unless they removed them which would take away a layer of realism from the game. I honestly think that sacrificing a bit of control is better than having no pit crew
Barring the ability to let your teammate know you’re coming into the pits, even just have Jeff tell you before the fact that your teammate plans on coming into the pits before he actually does like now, to prevent double stacks
Instead of being able to go to any team. only a couple of teams which are interested in you so you have to work your way up the teams instead of going to the best team straight away
There is actually a very nice mechanic in Pro Cycling Manager game. Along with team transfer, it has the mechanic where Race day condition is present, under which a rider might or might not feel good, in which illness can be a factor too. It has rider age mechanic, where all riders age increase after the end of each season. Also, riders stats depend on age. Young riders of 19-24 develop nicely and as such have great fitness, and as such they perform well over long period. Riders peak their performance around 25-31 years age. and their performance starts to diminish and as well as the stats after that. And usually around 40 years, they retire. Although this game is released yearly like F1, it is not very popular game. So if games like this can have these mechanics, codemasters can do it definitely too!!
