This probably sounds stupid or crazy, but ever since like 2011 the biggest crash of every even number year has been bigger than the biggest crash of the odd number years around it. Like 2021 was smaller than 2022 and 2020, 2019 was smaller than 2020 and 2018 etc

People really take the increased safety of cars for granted, many of these high speed crashes like stroll in Singapore in the past wouldve severely injured or killed a driver but nowadays drivers can just walk away fine or with a light injury, its incredible how much safety evolved.
