There's just something about GT7's photorealism that no other game can match. GT7 keeps things simple while other games exaggerate. Due to this other games look beautiful and gamey but GT7 just straight up looks photorealistic.
Looking at these comparison I preffer F1 2023 looks more realistic to me the physics seem more realistic the rain etc make it look more realistic and the environment the trees look more detailed.
@@PichoniixLooking at the side by side in clear weather it's clear to me how cartoonish F1 looks. The car doesn't seem to be actually planted on the track while in GT7 the car is moving around, loading each side of the car through the different corners
What are you even talking about... GT7 here doesn't look photorealistic at all. F1 23 on the other hand does, GT7 looks like they turned the contrast to 100, not a single colour looks natural apart from the trees.
The big graphics update was 22 and they are almost simmilar and also noticed hot my old pc runs better the new f1 games rather than the old ones. The new ones are better optimised for cpu compared to f1 2018 somehow.
The interior view would be more interesting. Do you see the degradation of the tires? Does the track evolve according to the number of laps, more or less grip?
You don't see tire degradation on GT7. And I'm not sure about the grip buildup on the track. I know that the wet track simulation is a far step ahead of what GT used to offer. Standing puddles according to the Lazer scanned track geometry and dry lines are simulated based on every car on the track. I know the ambient temp and cloud coverage effect tire wear and track drying times. So a wet track after rain will dry faster if the sun comes out strong vs when it stays cloudy and overcast. You got me thinking about the grip on dry now and I might do some testing when I have time.
I dont agree. F1 2023 has better graphics graphics seem more realistic when you have nice Physics and I don't think GT7 has the Physics of F1 2023 just look at the rain animation bro in F1 2023 feels real.

Shake cam in these games is annoying, only Gran Turismo makes this movement realistic, simple but beautiful and realistic, it really looks like you are following the car from behind, but in F1 it looks like the camera is on a fixed rod and you are stuck in it.
GT7 matches how tracks actually look like during a race. The tracks have a satin sheen to them, NOT a reflective puddle mess. In GT7, puddles will appear, but eventually when the track starts to dry, the puddles will collect in specific areas and the track will dry wherever the cars have been. THAT is realistic. Meanwhile, F1 23 takes a page out of Forza’s handbook and thinks that splashing water on the camera and making the rain and water look over-exaggerated. Also, let’s not forget just how amazing GT7 is with PSVR2 support. It’s insane. But there should have been real-life footage showing how rain looks on a real track. That just makes sense to do for a comparison.
Skąd te przycięcia animacji w GT7 na ps5? I to nawet na trasie bez deszczu? Co prawda gra potrafi zgubić kilka klatek, ale w pewnych warunkach (wyścig w deszczu, z dużą ilością samochodów przed graczem) i nie w takim stopniu
While both look great I'd give the edge to F1 2023 Rain splashes visible from your own vehicle, the distance fog appears more convincing and the game looks sharper in general

Mas tirando isso, coloquei por exemplo o game em 11:11, faltam muitas sombras no F1. As árvores no GT também reagem ao sol, com um brilho mais natural nas pontas. Bem, GT tem uma pegada fotorealista ao meu ver, o F1 é como os outros jogos, principalmente no molhado, apostam muito no brilho e reflexos pois chamam a atenção.. Mas... são irreais ao meu ver... Veja os pneus também, a sombra no F1 é mais ''crespa'', no GT ela vem aparecendo gradativamente...
I love gran turismo. But anyone who thinks 7 is more realistic than the f1 game is delusional. Ha! Like for real dudes? No disrespect as I assume everyone here are racing fans. But you can not be serious. Maybe I'm just getting old.
And I mean GRAPHIC wise. Sound obviously to F1...because comparing a made for f1 platform vs let's be honest, not the best sound for an "almost every car" game since its conception in 97.
To be honest while i'm doing a full practise session, a full qualifying and a whole race, i don't give a damn about this minor details. They both look fantastic. Not the same but good. The tires irritate me in GT7 because they don't look that in real life. And I see a lot of tired during races.
There are F1 races and you can buy "F1" cars (5 cars 2 hondas and 2 toyotas (recent), there is another vintage honda) but you can download the F1 liveries from the 'Discover' feature

It’s just the road, water and rain effects. Car model zoomed in is better on GT7 and environment is superb too. If you added realistic rain to gt7 more textured tarmac it would win by far

GT7 subjectively looks better. I think polyphony team will stick with oversaturated colors because it makes the game look prettier than boring "photorealism". There is no game franchise that offers better value for money than gran turismo. It's a japanese masterpiece and console selling game. Gran turismo: sport was super cheap and was revolutionary. Gran turismo 7 beats GT: sport out of the water, again lots of free content addon.... and physics improved a lot lately. I don't know any game that is this good and this cheap. Gran turismo 7 can't do everything better all the time, but it's clear the Polyphony Digital is ran by people who love the game a lot.
