F1 Drivers Nyck Devries, Valtteri Bottas, Oscar Piastri and Alex Albon React to Max Verstappen's Insane Pole Position Lap During Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying. verstoppen @Verstoppen
Need more reactions like these from drivers for every qualifying session Amount of excitement and thrills in brings makes increases the racing atmosphere
Agreed. To see how other drivers just love the sport they are in and can be just as excited as we are, even if it’s a rival driver, might help to put in perspective the rivalries between fans. I always loved the friendly banter in the stands, with a Merc fan to my left and a Ferrari fan to my right.
Schumacher always said that you're faster in Monaco by leaning to the wall. Max proved it. The last sector was just magic. So hard on the edge. A little bit faster and the car is wrecked.
@@virgilma6153 It'd be great to have Schumacher walk around the paddock and just give his views on the best drivers, like Leclerc, Verstappen and Russell. I'd bet he would be deeply impresed by all three, especially Charles. Heck, he could turn Ferrari around and enable Charles to use his greatest talent to win a championship.
@@seng5622 yep I got that shock few weeks ago when I saw him acting like an excited nervous kid when sitting by a female driver who drove him around the track parade in the Miami pre race.
@@jurrebleeker9210 mean 3rd si not mid field the penality tinted the wend but not say Charles is one of the 3/4 best driver is insane :) especially in quali…
@@jurrebleeker9210 of course hes good too, everyone is f1 is good, they risk their live for our entertainment, especially charles to the point of crashing, i dont understand anyone would hate any of them, i bet they're just jealous, like you
@@CristanioPeweyyy Lewis is in a car that is clearly not suited to him right now. Mercedes got it wrong, I am sure they will fix it. You can see how much a struggle that merc is to drive. + after seeing that red bull floor, I can comfortably say they are levels ahead in aero right now.
Alonso was milimetres off the walls literally everywhere on S1 and S2. Unfortunately S3 was where he struggled, maybe lacking confidence in the car there
Max owned sector 3 the whole weekend. Alonso knew he could only beat max by driving insanely fast through sector 1 and 2, but still it wasn't enough. Max simply pulled out some Senna like magic in those last 19 secs.
@@virgilma6153 Partly, supposedly his outlap wasn't ideal, so his tyres weren't yet in the window in s1-2. No one can do a S3 like that on any tyre anyways, except for Max, Lewis, Schumi, Senna.
@@wreagfe Astons all weekend are slow in S3 but very fast in first two sectors, redbull all weekend is flying in S3, i think same as u, alonso tires in S3 so overheating but, u know what Alonso say after lap. It’s all we have, we cant go faster.
Max doesn't need to prove to anyone how fast he is... when he joined Torro rosso in 2015 we all could see it, and even more in 2016. It's not only about the car, he proved it well trough his seasons.
I think Alex has that look of admiration and annoyance like "He's my friend and I love him but seeing him do this week in and week out is starting to piss me off a little 😂😂" kinda like how you're proud of your sibling but it still pisses you off 😂😂
If you watch early in Verstappen's lap, he is pushing his race car extremely hard, knowing there is no time left to save, he has to go all out. His Red bull is trying to slide its rear end out in numerous corners. Verstappen's reflexes are so fast in catching it and he is so in tune when it happens, it's just lightning in a bottle. A very impressive lap. Verstappen also used a time saving trick that all the fast drivers found, of rubbing several corner safety barriers with the car. But this trick has a price. Rub the barrier and get a faster lap. Tap the barrier just a tiny bit too hard and crack the suspension and it's lap over. Driver getting comfortable using this trick in the race, may well bring out several red flags so I don't expect to see it done many times in the race. All in all, four excellent laps by four excellent drivers, all in a row.
@@yvhuio Why that derogatory tone over and over again. Old cake. By the way, I'm just estimating that you yourself can't even get Verstappen's car out of the pit unscathed with your big mouth. We can all give nice and safe comments from the couch. Moron.
Having reviewed the onboard footage of that last sector Jolyon Palmer concluded that it was mainly down to Max almost touching every barrier through the swimming pool bends. Max was just ahead after them because he took the bigger risks.
I love how all the drivers and the staff in the paddock working with the cars understood how amazing Max pull off that sector 3. Meanwhile haters eating popcorn on the couch commenting: “iTs tHe CaR” lol.
@@finesupplements9698 lmao, did you start watching in 2021? forget 2015-2020 when he was battling the dominant merc & ferraris in a toro rosso/rb? get a grip, Monaco is RB's worst track. it's all driver hence why Checo was still below 10th.
@@finesupplements9698 Like Superman: on his home planet Krypton, Superman would be considered a weakling. Likewise, on Max' homeplanet, he is just a mediocre driver.
@@CristanioPeweyyy Not really, even in Toro Rosso Max' class was clear. That's why he got his shot mid season to Red Bull and pulled of a win first race in a lesser car. At some point you should just accept talent for what it is and stop downplaying it.
@@MrFloppyHare im sure williams spnsors love it ewhen their drivers clap for direct rival teams performances. this sint kindergarten buddy its bussiness
Albon and Max are bro's mate he regularly travels with Max to races from Monaco. If anything he wasn't really surprised as he knows Max very well. He actually said "Cool!" and for bro's that's enough 🤣
I think EVERYONE was expecting him to grab pole. Max is the best driver on the grid, with only Fernando Alonso even coming close in talent and skill, and add in his competitive obsession and very quick car...he is simply inevitable most of the time. When yoh watch the playback of qualifying from the F1 main channel, you can tell over the radio that Aston Martin was perparing themselves for disappointment when Nando grabbed pole and they realized that Max still had one last run...but to be .2 down after 2 sectors, I'm guessing the hope rose up unavoidably only to get crushed the moment he crosses the line and lands on pole. Funny thing, Nando could have won the Monaco GP if they hadnt totally fucked him in the pits with their bad decisions. Hed have been ahead of Max on a track that is almost impossible to overtake on with less than half the race left.
Another channel posted a digital comparison of Alonso and Verstappen quali laps side by side, its basically the last 2 or 3 turns where he made it up. Crazy.
there will be always discussion on the internet , who is the best. It doesnt really matter what people think, its so hard to tell with different cars teams etc. What matters is how drivers react, and there is no discussion on the grid. Even before max was world champion, they knew that max and still is the best driver of all time.
so you begin your sentence very nice statign its very hard to say who is the best but then you follow up by saying that max is the best on the grid? why? put alonso in the rb im sure he can close that gap between him and max? or leclerc or russel even. realisticly there is probably a 0.1sec gap between the first driver and the last driver on the grid if you would put them in the same car for the same amount of time. its impossible to say who is the best, its a team sport not a solo sport.
@@manbroBE ask alonso who is the best, and he will say max. He already did several times. For us its imposssible to say. For drivers onn the grid its easy
Albon is new ricciardo. Truly sarcastic. "Alonso had a bad sector 3". He knows how good max is & only true albon fans will get the joke 😂👏love albon even more.
@@maxdenbreejen9844 Nope, but I guarantee you they want to prove themselves in a red bull :). You think max would have done that lap in a williams? stop the joke...
Si, tiene un coche rápido pero Max está a un nivel increíble, el y Alonso son hoy por hoy los tíos más en forma de la fórmula 1 ke bestias y ke bonito es ver a estos tíos ir al limite❤❤❤
and again these British commentator... "in a superfast car"... British always tries to avoid giving credits to max.. where they always gave full credit to hamilton "another master class by lewis". Since Max or Alonso, its "look at how dominant the car is"' another "design miracle from newey" whilst its actually a fun fact that Wache and his team who is the lead designer, not Newey. They constantly repeat Newey and Milton Keynes
Estie-bestie, Max, Yuki, Nando, and the Monegasque of the principality really made the quali for me. That Yuki lap time came from nowhere. Ofc, I also thank Checo for the apple bottom jeans!
@@sptc7616 Well, in their position you're absolutely right about that. In the position of the fans though we want more of this but you can always watch the videos online ofcourse.
Na, as great as this is, if the Fia/F1 tried, they'd just line them up for mandatory reactions for everything every race. It's better when it's organic like this
The audacity to say “In a super fast car” no one said that to Hamilton, they said another masterclass to show you why he is the best. This hate to Verstappen is so cruel from Hamilton fans because Hamilton was in the exact same situation for the past 4 years. It shows you F1 fans don’t care about logic as long as their driver is right and winning.
