We would love to hear your own suggestions for tips & tricks in the comments below as well as the stories you have for us from your own career mode saves! 👇
Easy, watch Nerobax's guides. Pretty much all of the advice from 2023 works on 2024. With a top team you will dominate from season 1 even on hard difficulty. With the lower teams its easy to dominate from the second season. Maximise cornering and lower weight on everything except Front wing 1 click above minimum weight and Rear wing towards top speed and drs delta. Frotn and rear wings are cheap to replace but adding a tiny bit of weight on the front wing will make the front wing last at least 2 races. Soft tyres even on lower aggression is better than hards. Airflow sensitivity is only really helpful in the rain so its not worth putting much on it if anything. Put the first ATR into underfloor and make a followup floor. All the other parts you only need 1 lightweight design for the first season then spend the rest of the year researching, then you can dominate with any team from the second season.
I can't work out if this looks like the most relaxing game to play on a laptop on the sofa or the most intense data-driven game I need 6 screens to play
actually it would be nice to be able to use multiple screens for data, especially during the race, but as it stands at least in 2023 you couldn't really offload different "datapanels or telemetry data" on different monitors while using the main Monitor for the actual Racecam. In 2024 it will probably be the same so you actually could chill on your Laptop on the Couch, especially if you plan on simulating the races(which is a new feature in 2024)
The swap of ERS, engine and gearbox before practice and quli and race day is such an underrated tip! I tested this in F1 manager 22 and I got my grid penalties at the end of the season at which point I already won the constructors.
I hope the setups are more dynamic this time around. The setups were pretty identical and consistent from 22-23 and you usually get 95%+ setup confidence in the first practice, which makes fp2&fp3 monotonous when you're just getting track and part knowledge.
Great video John, thanks. I have a lot of hours in F1 manager 2022, but don't have F1 manager 2023. Would you recommend the 2023 version first or to go straight to F1 manager 2024? thanks in advance
I’d say go straight for 2024. It’s the pick of the series so far, but still no complete overhaul seen in either sequel so far, so I think a 22 - 24 jump makes a lot of sense 😊 Also, thanks for the kind words! 🙌🏼
Hi. Do you already have a video or ever thought about recording tips for young drivers development? How do I maximize their development to make them great drivers with big Overalls?
I did 13 seasons with AM in '22 and only got 1 championship. Idk what I did wrong there I always focused on development for the next season and I saw others dominate in a Williams from season 2-3 onwards
@@VIDE0G0D start over... I did just the same. It would be better to start over in the future as well since the bugs are getting fixed, bugs like other teams not developing new parts for their cars making them the same performance throughout the season.
You can manufacture even without money but it will put you in debt and risk your position as manager for the team if the loss is too big in the end of the season. Just manufacture “emergency”…
Maybe it's because I'm on console, but I can't get ahead at all. Granted, maybe I shouldn't have started with everything as crap as possible considering I'm new to the game. I run out of money all the time, can't develop or research, and my drivers bin it every time I put a new part on the car. Still, I'm enjoying the game.
electronic Desaster. just get blamed by the developer. 1st place and get instant failures and damage.. fastest car cannot overtake the slowest. good game but bad work from frontier. just a shame.
I generally tend to go for the same tire compounds for both drivers, but just swap them around. I usually go really aggressive on the tires, so I tend to need one more stop than all the others. I always start on softs and I use the same compounds for both drivers after that, but in a different order. Last race I went soft-hard-soft-soft with one and soft-soft-hard-soft with the other. For one of them there was a virtual safety car at exactly the right moment, but the other strategy also turned out well at the end. Splitting strategies also ensures that the ideal pitstop laps aren't on the same lap and that the drivers won't be in eachothers way on track. Otherwise you run the risk of them running behind eachother and slowing eachother down. It's only nice if you can use this to team up to keep a faster car behind, which basically only has real effect in the last stint. Otherwise they'll just undercut or overcut you anyway.
Do NOT buy this game! IT DOES NOT WORK and F1 manager just kicked me off discord because i “criticized” staff and not the game? As if they aren’t connected! All i said was not sure how one would not have seen there were issues with AI development and contracts if they played the game at all!!! Oh and when said it would take a while to fix because not working Saturday or Sunday I pointed out in my job along with many of you had a major issue for customers who purchased a product and did not work as intended we would be working Saturday and Sunday to fix it!!! Like usual discord and these devs are so weak skinned and minded…it’s pathetic!
Would love to know how you worded this on the discord. A lot of people criticize the game and are still there. Honestly I think it might be your own fault. But let me know if I‘m wrong.
Chill dude, they're working on it already. Plus, attacking the staff directly on their discord is quite a dumb idea. Being a programmer/game developer is quite tedious. We are lucky enough that they listen to our feedback. If you don't want to play the game then don't... you could've waited a few days and read reviews before buying it or pre ordering it.
