Years ago I replaced the original equipment antenna on my Audi TT with a stubby one not unlike the one shown in this video. Its maker claimed similar reception performance, however I immediately noticed numerous stations I had no trouble receiving with the OE antenna were no longer coming in loud and clear. Certain more distant stations that I previously could get were so weak as to be unlistenable. Make sure if you try one that you have return privilege.
I was thinking about the antenna HARD... but I still use it as my guide for "Will I clear" lol The antenna is a little taller than the truck so if Im not sure I crawl in!
Its a great upgrade. Would definitely recommend just proceed cautiously with patience when installing. The little clips underneath may break, and be careful not to scratch the dash! Worth it once it's done tho
I do plan on making that video but haven't uploaded yet. I don't think they offer one for lariat as that portrait screen would block the mounting system. I'll look into it. I love this accessory since it reminds me of the "bring your own device" rail on the broncos.
The floor mat is a pretty universal upgrade peopel should do (and need), but I'm not quite sure that a flag holder is an upgrade that most viewers will need. I htink that's a much less universal needed upgrade. It's more of a cosmetic thing than a utilitarion functional thing.
Wow I reread the title and I did say "For YOUR truck" 😄 I guess 5 upgrades that could go on your truck, I'm not saying they have to! But also, I could see the flagpole mount having other practical uses to mount cameras on poles... Let your imagination run wild!
