I took heated seats out of one 06 lariet and am putting them in my other 06 lariet that had power but not heated seats, can I cut the plug off one and wire it into the one I want heat in? I hope you check this in desperate!
I bought a pair of seats from an Excursion off Craigslist. They are going in my 1962 F100. I see three wires black, gray, and green. After viewing this video, I assume the gray is hot; black is ground but, what is the green? Do I need to use the green? All the wires are solid; no stripe. I don't care about memory. The black looks like maybe a 16 ga. The grey maybe 18 ga. The green maybe 16 ga. If I mix up wires, will I burn up the motor anything bad?
ralph sampson I believe the green is power and the gray is the ground best thing to do is supply voltage that is fused so the motors are 10 amps put a 7 amp fuse and if it pops when u move the motor you know it’s running correctly. I also recommend you go to alldatadiy.com and make a profile the $20 for a vehicle subscription is worth it alone for wiring.
