Hey Yamaha. You forgot the part of the story that involves all the broken blocks due to flywheel issues and the design flaw of the crankshaft.

This engine crank was built by a Volvo Xc-90 V8 with 5.3 liter V8 and 350 bhp

And unfortunately, they messed it up big time. That crank is the very reason why this outboard is cracking blocks left and right.
