The nose gear was stuck down because I had a really bad crash on the second day. I either lost signal, or stalled it in a turn (unlikely). I did regain control and tried to save it. When I saw it wasn't going to make it I let it pick up a little speed and I flared at the last second and pancaked it. It was a loud thud! I expected to find a million foam pieces. Surprisingly I fixed the plane in about 1.5 hours, the worst damage being a broken battery tray, and the nose partially separated about where the pilot is. What I didn't see was the nose gear unplugged itself partially. Easy fix once I figured it out.
I only get to fly this thing once a year and I am still trying to feel comfortable with it.
