As an autistic myself, I love how you these videos use nekos as a metaphor for neurodiverse people. I've seen a lot of people point out autistic traits in cats, like their kneading being similar to stimming, and how they have sensory sensitivities with sounds, being touched, what they choose to eat, etc, and how their actions can be misunderstood because people have different social expectations. I can't speak for everyone but in a way I think dogs and cats are a great way to metaphorically illustrate neurotypical and neurodiverse people, since dogs think more like humans do while cats think in a much different way. Dogs are eager to please, very sociable, and love physical touch, while cats are their own person and will act more on their own wants, and they often like to be alone but enjoy closeness with those they trust, both physically and emotionally. But like how nekos are just humans with cat parts, ND people are just people with a different way of thinking. The section from 7:07 - 9:06 is a great way to show to NT people how ND people feel when they're put into most social situations, and you did it masterfully. I love how you handle the neko listener and human speaker talking about both groups thinking differently and how the other must feel in those situations where they are the odd one out. The fact that they actually talk about how they're feeling, and try to listen and understand each other by talking. The fact she admits she admits she was wrong and apologizes for assuming. The fact she is willing to learn and improve herself to help the listener. Those things are surprisingly not thing a lot of people tend to do, regardless of whether they're NT or ND. But it's especially important for a supportive relationship where you should be there for each other. "I'm self-conscious, but I'm not uncomfortable with how you are." Really encapsulates the message. Sorry if this was a bit long but I just wanted to let you know you did a fantastic job, and thank you.

I was about half way through this audio when i wanted to write how hillarious this series has been( which it has been) but then the tone changed into seriousness and i read the description. Its nice to see you adress it in such an uncommon way and i assume ppl who suffer from it can find themselves in your character. You are doing a lot of good with all your audios adressing all kinds of Situations Kat you should be Proud of ur work!

So... this is the single most relatable video I've ever listened to and I absolutely fucking love the fact that you baced the Nekos of this world off your own neurodiverse friends and if we can get slightly metaphorical here and see the species difference between Neko and Human as the neurological difference between neurodivergent and neurotypical people I've never seen a more accurate protrail VERY well done :-)

To be fair if the duo were together for quite a while, maybe they could have taught each other basic communication for the others kind. Seems like quite an important lesson, especially if you don't want a neko named Jerry who happens to work the same shifts as you to babble about some rude girl just talking to him out of the blue, for the love of god we get it now Shut up!
