As a zombie, you still need to take care of your body. Cold/dry areas would be best, you don't want to get wet since you don't have much of an immune system. You basically want to act like a mummy. get those embalming fluids. Not feeling pain is your enemy.

You know, until this series, I'd never thought of the concept of partial zombie virus immunity (or in this case, a partial zombification virus). In most series if someones immune, then thats it, a bite won't turn them. But the concept that you could somehow be only *partially* immune, or a differing strain could cause you to start rotting and decay, yet keep all your mental faculties, is infinitely more terrifying than just becoming a mindless undead.

When I heard she was infected I got scared of a bad ending

Tbh, the first time I heard part 5, I felt bittersweet, but now that I just listened to the whole thing again, it feels more like we reached a happy middle. And the final zombie hug is really getting to me every time! It was great to listen to the whole thing again!

We were just mewing the whole time

The fact that I’m wishing for another part just shows me how much I don’t want this to end and I don’t. This was a great journey to listen to every night.

The ending… I was just like “NOOOOOOO”

Basically ghoulification at this point. Give it a hundred years or two and it won't be a shoot on sight thing any more lol

This story probably has multiple endings depending on which zombie the listener was tbh A tank: survivor probably dips on the spot and they never meet A hunter: survivor is much more cautious but since they can't really outrun them, they eventually come to terms A spitter: shot on spot A jockey: listener is treated like a child before making a sudden movement and getting struck down A boomer: shot on spot A witch: avoided at all costs And a charger: After multiple attempts at trying to communicate with charades, the charger gave up and left because they can't move they're 2 massively differently sized arms to make any motions

When I realised we are a bit decayed my brain instantly went “Wait does that mean the ending will be us decaying completely and leaving her alone? D:”

I feel like a few well-placed eyerolls, shrugs, and birds flipped would've established humanity real quicklike. Give me the gone-off meat, woman! It's not like it's gonna kill me.

Time to listen to the full story again!~ Sweet, somber, even a little sad. It may be short but its so good ive told a very close friend, even my mom who loves zombie stories, about the audio. Cant wait for future projects and more lovely stories and adventures!!

Despite only being out for 2 days it feels like this video has been taunting me for weeks. An unwatched scratch video, a story ive seen but havent commented on. Well i finally caved and the rewatch was pleasant as usual

it's ironic that because she got infected she can be close without fear. anyway, i enjoy the video and your voice sounds so soft. i would like if you add more expression in it tho, like surprised voice or laughter. also fun fact : shirayuki tomoe (the girl in the picture) once made short drama voice about zombie apocaypse where she shot her partner because the partner got infected, only to have the government announce that zombie infection can be cured minute later. i just found the coincidence funny.

That ending was pretty sad. I won't lie I teared up when I heard that you also got infected, the blame I felt here was real. I love this audio so much, thanks for the run in this zombie-land ❤

I remember a Deadpool comic where he took the head of a A.I.M. Agent who turned into a zombie and just let him lead the way towards a secret base that released the outbreak and every so often the head would say “hard right” and wade would laugh at the innuendo

You probably don't know much about South Africa and all the shit that happens here, but it's currently loadshedding, which is just a scheduled power outage because after the ANC took over in '94 they decided to pocket the money specifically set aside to upgrade our power stations, and I just have to say, I got really into the role of the zombie, I also felt, and I mean felt, confused but happy when the survivor hugged me at the end, I mean like I was stunned and didn't know what to do. All-in-all a great audio

my only guess would be a mutation in the virus that would allow the person to maintain their mental faculties mostly however there are likely still side effects as seen here where the infected listener (aka us) can’t speak there are also probably other issues if i was infected like in this situation but still had control of myself and my body i would hide too because as soon as someone saw me they would either try to kill me or panic and flee which would draw attention of other survivors that might also try to kill me
