great videos, dont get all the nitty gritty details on most vids, much appreciated. Just wondering when you do the sealant ( brown) it appears to be in a pressurised can? I"m in australia haven't seen that before, can you give more details is it a silicone in pressure can?

Thanks. It's Black. Loctite 598 Silicone. Yes, it is pressurized. Great stuff.

My friend congratulations, I have seen 2 videos of yours on the F4A42 transmission of the Tucson and I notice that you know them very well. i just subscribed. I have a 2007 Tucson and I put a kit on it ( oil,filter,seals and paste discs) and it still fails. the transmission revolutionizes, and goes to security mode and stops applying (that every 200-500 meters approximately) I must turn it off and turn it back on. and it is repeated. (revolutionize and stop applying). The codes that it has thrown are p0731, p0732 and p0733. I am going to check the valve body and the solenoids with the technician. Can you please give me the resistance of all the solenoids? I thank you. and thanks for sharing my friend

Thanks. 2.7-3.4 Ohms. All of them are the same and can be swapped around. Yours should have a plastic body, the earlier ones have a metal body. DO NOT swap with those. They have a different flow rate and will not work. Tell me what is going on and I will try to lead you in the right direction. Be as detailed as possible.

Thanks for answering my friend, the first thing I must say is that I like English but I don't speak it. (I translate what I write in Google) I speak Spanish. The Tucson 2007 automatic 4×4 truck, I bought it and the transmission was failing, from 2nd to 3rd speed the revolutions went up, (it skidded or slid) and it went into safety mode (3rd) which is why I sent it to change the paste discs, oil, filter and seals, but the transmission remained the same, in fact now it is worse because every 200 or 500 meters it slips and stops applying, I accelerate but it does not advance. so I turn it off for a few seconds and turn it on again and it starts but it returns to the same thing (go to security mode)

At first I thought the fault was external, but since I know something about electricity, I measured all the feeds from the connector that reaches the transmission and it has all its feeds, its positives and its grounds. The codes that it has given so far are p0731, p0732 and p0733, (Incorrect relationship). currently it only gives p0732, because as soon as one starts the car, the RPMs go up but it does not advance (as if it did not apply), and it goes through security mode (3rd) and stops advancing I press the pedal and it accelerates up but does not advance, and again there is to turn off the car. so we think (the technician and I) that it may be the valve body. I would appreciate any technical suggestions my friend. God bless you!

You have a mechanical problem in the unit. I believe you will find the splines on the overdrive planet stripped out. You can fix it in the vehicle. You must pull the side cover and drum out to get to the planet.

Thank you very much my friend for taking part of your time to help me find the fault. I am going to tell the technician that, because tomorrow we are going to lower the valve body. a question. Is it possible to take the Overdrive planet to check it without disassembling the transmission?, that is, on the driver's wheel side? Or is it necessary to lower the transmission completely?

Yeah. My early videos the camera was too far away. I have since moved it closer. When I get another of these in, I will redo it. Don't see them much anymore.
