I unfortunately have to admit way back in the day I listened to this dude and even purchased a few of his books. But, I also would question some of the things he would proclaim. And the speaking “in tongues “out burst during his preaching just got to me , I just cannot thank God enough for getting me out of all that world. Between PerryAnd Bethel and the vineyard movement., I was on a very bad path. God is amazing is all I can say.

Used to watch Joel Osteen until I realized he was practicing the law of attraction. Used to watch Todd White, who seemed so loving only to find out he was just pulling everyone's leg and was defending Kenneth Copeland. Used to watch Sid Roth until I realized he would invite any yahoo on his show and his famous baby talk speaking in tongues episode did it for me. And now Perry Stone and his "elixir of life", what is going on.... that's no different than making potions in Harry Potter.

What first raised by eyebrows about Perry Stone is his claim to have over 180,000 hours of intensive Bible study under his belt. He is 61 now, and let's assume that he did not undertake this feat until, say, sixteen years of age. That would mean that he did nothing other that Bible study on the average of 11 hours a day, each and every day, for 45 years.

Met him in 2007-2008at a former church I was in praise God for my eyes being opened to the prosperity garbage and to him! Needless 2 say, that church closed down 7yrs ago as membership declined as people woke up!

You’ve been a blessing to me by inspiring me to get back into the word and take whatever someon is preaching and going back to the Bible not just believing everything they say! I AM baptized and a Christian. The Holy Spirit dwells in EVERY believer. I'm not going to argue with you. Take your grievance up with Chris if you aren't too afraid. Go to his Facebook page and do it there. My guess is you are too chicken to do that because instead you come on RU-vid and call out people who watch his videos.

Instead you come on here and disparage Chris. Chris has reached out to these false teachers and prays for them and their followers regularly. The baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of tongues was for the Day if Pentecost and as a sign to the people of that time that the prophecy of Jesus being the Messiah had been fulfilled. If you read those passages in Acts you will see that the gift of tongues was so that everyone there would hear the Gospel message IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. It's not some mumbo jumbo gobbledygook gibberish and it's no longer needed.

I’m a paramedic, somethings wrong with the photograph. A bag of IV fluid wouldn’t be hanging that low to the bed if it’s being used, and even if it’s clamped off or set at KVO rate (keep vein open) it’s still typically going to be hanging up above the bed somewhere on an IV pole, not on the bed railing. I saw him years ago at Channel 19 in madisonville kentucky and he would preach on the rapture in 1980. He said it might be any day. He was scaring everyone with his predictions .

Regarding discernment I believe it is one of the gifts that is most desperately needed today, and if you follow these hyper charismatics then you are sorely lacking discernment. These men that you follow, don't preach the Word of God they preach themselves. You display similar traits as you are putting your own thoughts, opinions and pet beliefs above the Word of God. If Chris or anyone preaches something I don't see in the Word I will challenge that regardless of how much I appreciate their ministry. Acts 1:5 & Acts 2;4 John 1:33 Mat 3:11 was fulfilled at Pentecost - all believers receive the Holy Spirit when we enter into a relationship with Christ - if not we are not believers and illegitimate. I am a charismatic believer who does speak in tongues, which is probably your evidence of being filled with the Spirit. 1 Cor 12:29-31; 1 Cor 12:18-19. Since coming to faith in Christ I have attended AOG churches, and currently go to a Pentecostal type church. The evidence of being filled with the Spirit is the Fruit of the Spirit. Gal 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called to one hope at your calling- Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all how many baptisms have you received?

King David or the prophets wouldn't condone Perry Stone. They are gonna ask how in the world did you take our Holy scriptures and make them into scam for profit. Jesus took people like that and ran them out of the temple. Would you rebuke Jesus or be standing outside saying King David committed adultery....Jesus also would reply maybe....King David doesn't sell the elixir of life either

Any preacher that doesn't fit his beliefs he calls a false teacher or a false prophet. He's infected his followers on these posts with the same critical spirit. These people are spiritual toddlers who lack discernment. Notice all the men he attacks are baptized in the HG and talk in tongues. I got this experience several years ago. I'm appalled what comes out of Chris's mouth and his misguided followers. Jesus is not pleased.
Years ago, I watched my only Perry Stone sermon, about the Bride of Christ and the symbolism of ancient Jewish weddings, as related to the rapture. I didn't-ah! like the way-ah! he ended his-ah! words so dramatically-ah! But it was actually really good, and I still remember certain details. What a shame to hear he's quack-kookoo.
This has just absolutely saddened me greatly! I used to watch this man back in 2000-05 before he started appearing on TBN but he was on Daystar instead, then later after he even would talk about the "prosperity" Gospel he became one himself. I walked away from the church for 10 years in 2017 when I repented I have not turned the tv back on to watch anything at all! Not interested in any kind of "Christian" network nor have I been able to bring myself to watch Mr. Stone now I understand why. But that tells me he needs prayer, he needs a brother in Christ to sit him down in the love of the Holy Spirit and rebuke him with Biblical correction. I will not damn him, or condemn him but instead pray the Father will humble him and give him grace and mercy bringing him to repentance. I am a mere human being and could fall into the same snare as others, so to boast as if I could not would set me up for a huge fall as well. Prayer is needed, love for him, the love of God that He shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost is what is needed. Not snide, mocking comments gleaning pleasure from the fall of another. That I find just as heartbreaking as what Mr. Stone is doing. Eternal life is THE GIFT of God i.e. Jesus Christ! Eternal life is A PERSON! 1Jn 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

My mother gave me a few Perry Stone books about one secret Biblical mystery uncovered or another. It was shortly after I came out of the Roman Catholic Church and I was heavily cross checking everything with Scripture. It didn’t take long to figure out that Perry only uses Scripture to make his point and sell his books. He twists, mistranslates and lies his way to book sales.
Jim Gossett Perry Stone is a com-man. He only uses the Bible for personal gain. Only the blind and deceived can’t see him for what he is. Please listen and don’t just type a mad insult. Watch his sermons. Watch him prance around and work the crowd. Read his books with an open Bible. Cross reference every Bible verse that he quotes and put it in the intended Scriptural context. Notice how he’s always selling a book that reveals a Biblical secret. If he was actually shown a secret by God, he should share it freely. Would Paul sell his letters to the congregation of Corinth? Lastly, if you can’t see him for what he so obviously is, maybe you should ask yourself why not,
I would watch him and wanted to go to Israel with him. I noticed though that he would start a teaching but always go to something else then wanted everyone to buy the rest of the "thing" he started talking about. Maybe he could be put in that safe box too.

I have friends who I have considered to be spiritually wise who are enamored by him. I don't know if it is because they are elderly now and more vulnerable that they got sucked in by him. I guess it is easy to assume that if someone is on TBN, Daystar, or their books are sold at a Christian bookstore they are legit. Although I am grateful for Pastor Chris red pilling me to all this, it's hard to watch all the corruption. It's got me praying for a purging of the church.

Although I agree that Perry Stone isn't the preacher ppl should put trust in but, wouldn't the Christian thing to do be simply warn ppl and pray for him? I'm a new christian (although raised in church my whole life) so maybe I'm wrong but, I like to consider what Jesus would do before I voice an opinion about things such as this & I truly believe Jesus would want us to pray for Perry Stone.
How did Jesus address the false teachers of His day? He called them a brood of vipers and dogs, he told them they’re going to hell, it is Gods Will for false teachers to be exposed and silenced

He was interviewed on a podcast recently (BAR Project, I think the name was) and said that they are working on something regarding a podcast, even though the regular one is on hold.
