The marketing team for this was so funny i had to check out the music, I'm so happy to find a group of grown women with impecable music, amazing vocals and so full of creativity!
I think it’s “you get a lot of lettuce” as in you make a lot of money. But it could be eat it just sounds like it might be you get and their accents make it sound like eat
@@hellokittyontopyou get a lot of lettuce is a phrase in English tho. Lettuce refers to money bc both are green. The meaning would be like talking about a lover and they make a lot of money which is plus but they’re toxic so obviously you wouldn’t want them.
@@hexyila52 yea but lettuce is healthy... so "you eat alot of lettuce" makes more sense bc it's followed up with "but you're toxic" meaning even though you eat healthy, you're still toxic. plus in the offical lyrics (description box) it's "you eat alot of lettuce but you're toxic".
For anyone who don’t know, these ladies were a part of the iconic and legendary Jpop group, E-Girls and their subunit: Happiness. I had no idea that they were doing something like this. I just clicked on it and immediately recognized the girls. Go ladies 😆!
not just funny marketing, but genuinely good song, talented members, and their beauty is so stunning... i never heard of them before but i'm now a fan. thank you tiktok
Finally a group of GROWN women with unique features representing more than the cookie cutter look of East Asian beauty standards. Not to mention the amazing choreo synchronization and charisma they all have. These ladies are gonna go FAR 🌟💫
What do u mean finally. They been around since forever lol 😭 4 of them literally came from the group Happiness (debuted more than a decade ago) and E-Girls. Just check out LDH girl groups.
@@melzer1377 oh I didn’t know, thank you for the info! I’ll definitely look them up. I guess I should rephrase my original comment to say it’s nice to finally see a group like this being *promoted* and gaining traction in the algorithm!
@@f5ve_official food pyramid is still a nugu group they debuted in 1970 and still haven't any album sales, its because they debuted in a company called Sweden, and has only 6 albums: 1. Fats, spread and oil 2. Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, beans and nuts 3. Milk yogurt and cheese 4. Cereal and bread, potatoes, pasta and rice 5. Vegetables, salads and fruits. 6. Sugar
Cheers for pointing this out! 3 of the members were born in 96, 1 in 95, and the youngest was born in 2003. Never thought I’d see new groups w average age of 20+ at this day and age.
@@YourJapanic I was talking about the choral singing used throughout the song, whereas Western & Korean groups will usually have one member singing at a time.
I like it!! They're much easier to tell apart! I find that LOTS of kpop groups get samey with styles and sounds, that sometimes members look or sound too similar!! I get Newjeans members mixed up sometimes because of the styling or the vocal production in some songs.
@@glim3697 thier name was SG5 stand for sailor moon gardians they disappeared since 2022 they just got back with a new name and new concept for the group (thier concept now is intergalactic agents from tokyo and each member have an ability ( they posted on twitter if u wanna know the abilities)
Everyone who worked on this deserves a big round of applause👏🏽 The stylists, cinematographer, director, vfx artists, etc. Genuinely impressed with the quality, this group deserves more attention and subscribers for sure!
They were originally apart of the group Happiness when they were teens and were apart of the large girl group E-girls! They were all separate girl groups in the LDH company and joined to form a mega group similar to akb48! You should check them out I was a huge fan for years and was so sad to hear happiness disbanded. So glad they’re still together under a new group name 🥰
The more I listen to this song the more I get Gyaru J-Pop vibes era (Amuro Namie, DOUBLE &tc) and the more I love the song. But they are also so originally fresh and unique as a J-Pop group that you can't compare them to anyone. 🥬🤍
@@YourJapanic I have been listening to Japanese music my entire life, that's more than two decades. And the Japanese comments clearly agree with me as many are comparing F5VE to Amuro Namie and other Heisei artists.
@@minimanimoo8715kpop fans have NO IDEA about the origins of kpop, and it's either because they're young asf and uneducated or just very locked into the kpop world that they barely know a thing outside of it. Honestly they should be giving flowers to the jpop industry (as well as the American music industry) for getting kpop to where it is now. The jpop idol training system PLUS western music trends (sometimes jpop music trends are used, especially cutesy trends) got kpop to a huge level of success. Still not as mainstream as kpop fans may think in the west but still quite popular. It would've never got popular if it hadn't started in the 90s when SMTOWN adopted the Motown training system and combined it with their knowledge of the jpop idol industry. Mind you Jpop and the American music industry have literally been existing WAAAAY before kpop, so kpop is actually not that old in itself. Anyways that's how kpop felt "unique" or "different" to others when in reality it's a combination of pre-existing sound and visual trends from other music industries.
Welcome to the J-Pop side! The group F5ve is one of the many talented groups managed by LDH JAPAN. RUI (the vocalist) is also a member of the pop trio iScream and the youngest member of F5ve. KAEDE (the leader), RURI, SAYAKA and MIYUU are former members of the legendary J-Pop groups Happiness and E-GIRLS (EXILE GIRLS). In their RU-vid channel they have introduction videos with English subtitles.
This MV appears randomly on my fyp and i saw the lettuce i was so confused. Now that ive listened to the song, i must say the song SLAPS❤🔥would totally put this on repeat
I LOVE THIS OMG finally grown women making music are trending... love the song and the fairy princess outfits. im SO going to steal those makeup looks!! MOTHERSSS
thats actual J-Pop as its best, concept, style and dresses, power and the cute girls too, all touches completely in mind and heart, believe me..........................
I'm begging y'all to release a "clean" version on Spotify so I can add this to my store's playlist!! I work at a Japanese convenience store in the US, and I try to keep the playlist fresh and fun. This song would be PERFECT (especially for the summer!!) but I can't use anything explicit 😭
what you mean by explicit? it's the song about s3x or have some profanity words on it?! edit: oh, i went to check the lyrics and there is a "F*ck it". Didn't even noticed 🤣
They're so good! And, the fact that they are not trying to fit in the beauty standards but rather staying true to their natural beauty is just so beautiful! ❤
