You can get a bigger anti gravity that is the same size as the yb-14-bs but i think it's around $500. Does have huge Ah though, think it's 20Ah and still lighter.

$224.99 and is 6.1ah vs the 12ah OEM for $40.00 I'm going to keep waiting a little longer. My f800gs is a feb 2014 build and the original battery is still going strong after over 6 years now

Well it is a great improvement in weight. 4 kg down on the very top of the bike sounds great. But it's roughly 8x to 15x more expensive than a regular battery. In addition you need to buy a new charger. Plus if you need to charge during a trip, can you find a suitable charger? (No.) So, I like it, but it has also (for me) significant disadvantages.

The only issue with Lithium batteries is that in at low temperatures they don't do so well, I have to crank my f800gs a couple of times for the battery to heat up and be able to start the engine. Also Lithium batteries don't charge very well in low temperatures, so you have to consider that when thinking of upgrading. I for one have no problem with the shortcomings, but anyone who is thinking of switching should that that in consideration. P.S.: low temperatures means anywhere below 10°C, but i have been running mine down to 1-2°C and it's still working ok.

As far as I know the battery is still working good, the new owner is a friend and would have definitely said something if the battery gave up 😀👍

@@michaelb.252 yes, I'm very happy with it, I would recommend if you ride sandy terrain and if you go high speeds with knobby tires, when I took the f800gs to the dry lake for a speed run I was glad I had a steering damper.

Ciao Al, Silvio from Australia here . Hope you’re well bello. I bought a MV F41000,2012 model. The key doesn’t turn on any power to bike . Would you suggest I buy a new battery? If so any idea of the right one for the F4?

Nice choice, the F4 is a beautiful bike, I would test the battery just to make sure that is actually it, if you have an owner manual and you want a direct replacement, there should be the exact part, in there. Otherwise any aftermarket should specify the brand and model. 👍

Hi, I didn't, but upgrading the springs is very easy, just get some quality springs from a well known brand, and andreani, touratech, bitubo, etc. Good luck 👍
