I’m glad air traffic control received an alarm and was able to alert the pilot. Does the plane also alert the pilot? I’m glad it’s being investigated.

Is this a hacking or a Boeing thing (Southwest has all Boeing in fleet) or pilot error? Scary and am unacceptable!

As far as I know Southwest prefer VFR and avoids FILING IFR plans and their flights are not recorded properly by FAA. Some airports like Burbank (bob hope) prefer VFR which is more like Private Passenger Trafficking. Oklahoma is the center of aviation and home of FAA.

@@davidjones8043I don't know if AI would be the right term, but computer controls and redundant hydraulic systems have made the plane safer. Now Southwest uses boeings which has had issues. So maybe there's a computer glitch and they have been hiring Delta echo igloo pilots that are less qualified so in that sense maybe you're right

I suspect were the qualities of boeing's parts good enoughto last? Are they going to last for years or may start to cause performance failures. If Boeing hasn't do very good quality controls on those parts, bad things might yet come.

Unfortunately, in today's world, perception is everything, actuality means nothing. If a false statement is spoken and people with a pack mentality jump on the bandwagon then it is assumed to be true. That just pi$$es me off.

Every pilot ive had with southwest was a white male. And i fly between 5 and 15 times a year for the last three years
