To be Fair 😂 Paul is STUPID With Mental Problems !! Paul Did Not check on his brother First after Paul Rolled the car ben was in !! Now wat type of person Is that ,,, STUPID AND MENTAL ILL
I guess this confirms what Matt said about not using Paul as a spotter. He doesn't care if stuff gets wrecked. Once the car was right side up again, Ben just hops back in like nothing happened.
Ben is an unsung hero but I have a feeling that's not his first roll over. Him and Paul have done it all over the years even before youtube. Great team of brotherly love between them.
5:59 y’all remember in a interview on someone’s channel they went to fab rats and Ben said Paul being younger brother that they put him threw it as a kid so now Paul just getting Ben back as adults 😂😂😂
Rolling the vehicle in tow was just a minor problem and didn't slow Paul and Ben down much at all. I'm sure those extra scuffs would buff right out. No one looks at the roof anyways.
Matt will be loading videos soon! After he does, the competitors are allowed to share their videos. Attendees were asked not to post long videos until Matt started. Stay tuned, you will get more details. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I had a felling that the people who had the most experience with their Tow trucks were going to be more successful then the other guys. Length of time with your rig you should know the ends and outs. Matt may do better because of the sheer weight of his rig.
Too many idiots walking around with cameras and obstructing the contestants path. The area should have been roped off at each venue. I’m disappointed in the lack of safety. It shows the ignorance of the public and planners.
Anybody can roll over while driving or pulling a car... but what Paul did AFTER the car was on its side, was a little strange. Why did he keep pulling instead of going around and pull from the other side, thus getting the car on its wheels?..
@@KrisD007 Actually I was worried if I was in trouble for watching some videos without Matt's approval... Yes, I think I am in trouble because I carry a spare tire in my car, which is against Matt's rules...
I like how none of the drivers or crash test drivers wore helmets in this event at all. Seems common sense but oh well. 👍 maybe some stakes and ribbons to keep the crowd from getting squished maybe.
@@calimesacox OK I only heard about Donners Pass ,I didn't know about San Berdo and I lived up there back in the 70's and I remembered one winter I believe it was 78 and the snow was so bad that the local Grocery store had to close because of the snow load on the roof was so bad that the steel beams were groaning
5:54 - remove top J hook. lower the boom, tip it back by extending the boom into the roof. When it lands, have co pilot lock E- brake if it works, service brakes if it doesn't, mash go pedal and spin it. All that can be done with more finesse and winching, but I don't think that's Paul's style.
All the wreckers except Matt's used a rope and pulled the vehicles up as would any off road vehicle for assistance. This means that only the WRECKER Matt used actually performed as a wrecker. Since this was the Wrecker Games, I would contend the other VEHICLES should be disqualified for not being wreckers by their own actions.
@Mark Bridges not to run this in the ground like a detctive as it doesnt really matter, but if you watch Anthony Dunsters video you will see around 41 min 17 sec in Rory clearly uses a rope to assist the boom cable which he had begun using as a rope pull because keeping the vehicle on the metal tripod Bridle made it too close to make it up obstacles. So, yes, he was using the boom but not as a wrecker but a tow hook for a cable. Without the Bridal connected the vehicle moves freely and thats not wreckering thats pulling because it doesnt allow for wheels to be missing on the recovery. If anyone of the vehicles was missing front or rear wheels, only Matt would have been able to wrecker them without severe damage. All of the nonfabricated frame vehicles used rope because they were not engineered for this type of serious rock crawling. Matts rig was completely designed and purpose built for this.
1: I kept telling you your too light in the front add a weight bar. 2: Too many people in the danger zone next time rope off the area to keep people away from the contestants work area..
To be fair how many built fj cruisers and built square body's do you own?? You ain't built anything if you've never had to adapt. Pull adapts and overcomes but again how well is your RU-vid business and RU-vid built vehicle selection???
@Joseph Prentice I'm not trying to bash the guy that's why I started my comment like I did. I'm just trying to say he has that Demolition Derby mentality, and it comes out with some of the stuff he does. And no, I don't have a RU-vid channel because I'm retired and that would be work. But rolling the vehicle you're supposed to be recovering? That is adapting and overcoming?
@ALAN S I know what you mean! Paul is a very talented fabricator and puts out some really nice work! When he cuts corners and hacks something together, he does so consciously. His decisions are based on what the needs of the situation are and he doesn't waste his time making everything perfect when perfection won't add value to the end result. If something does need to perfect, he goes the extra mile.
@@alans6767 are you really that inclined to believe he's going to do the same to a customer vehicle?? The saying goes 1 bolt can turn from 5 minutes to 3 days in a second. They have 6 hours and demo derby vehicles they are pulling to be fair the title was click bait I thought he rolled the wrecker not the dummy vehicle. It's a lax competition we're not talking about the super bowl lmao. And if it was the super bowl well give it a guess neither one of us is in the running kinda meaning we shouldn't call everyone hacks.. 😉 I didn't call you a hack with your xj picture and no videos it's just common thought I guess
@@alans6767 Matt uses rebar for rigidity kind of like the old time lowriding guys. That hop 12 ft. 🤷♂️ anything someone built that functions is enough for a 👍🤙 be like me saying nice mall crawler yj bet it's only got bolt ons and deathwobble😂😂😂😂
If fab showed up to recover my vehicle I think I'd rather disassemble my vehicle and pack it out part by part rather than have them back into it a dozen times and roll it over with out regard
@@benwah65 never mind the trolls. The rest of us knew it was all for fun. Thanks for what you do, you bring smiles to many people's faces and we appreciate you
I believe all these Isuzus were junk cars to begin with, as in, they were wrecks and in the junk yard if I recall Matt saying. These have not been on the road in years.
@@japrover Besides, Isuzu has not been sold in the US for a while either, much like Suzuki and soon Mitsubishi if I'm not mistaken. Daiwoo and Daihatsu both also left the US market in the past 15-20 years. I know Daiwoo is now part of GM, but their Chinese counterparts and the Sonic and Spark were simply rebadged Aveao's but a better made car overall than those original captive imports.
@@dken2077 but mi point is that if the car was clean before they started it wouldn’t have happened!! Right RIGHT SO WITH THAT SAID yea great they cleaned it up awesome 👏
