Faber castell Gelatos compared to kids gel crayons 

I have a mini haul of art and colouring supplies and wanted to see how these faber-castell gelatos compared with the seemingly cheaper alternative of the shuttle art gel crayons which are aimed at children. Are cheap kids crayons as good as the adults art materials..?
