I bought some markers made by Faber-Castell called 'Pitt artist pens'. I talk about what makes them different to alcohol markers and why you may want to buy them. I said MAY want to buy them. You'll see....( Light-fastness basically).
Still not sure how to pronounce Copic. .... co-pic .... cop-ic...

I've tried the pigment pens from Steadler and these pit pens. I love the pigment pens better. I just don't like the way these lay down. The pigment pens blend better too. They also don't leak through the page. The Pitt pen leaked through my paper.

I don't like smelly pens either. When you are drawing you shouldn't be dependant of a ventilated area. That's meant for heavy industry. The worst markers I've tried is "sharpie"... they must be named after their odour xD The markers you showed could be a nice addition to watercoloring.

Just, why? If you want your work to last, just store them in a nice place, or scan them. Watercolors can be also be archival. These things are so expensive, and yet using them raw is like hell. BTW, I thin Sharpie markers with 99% Isopropyl instead of getting Copic markers, and apply the ink with a synthetic watercolor brush.
