@@liorivera8865 One thing I was thinking is that D'Angelo had the amazing Charlie Hunter on guitar and bass for his brilliant Voodoo album. And here, Fabiana can call on the incredible Pino, her Dad. Fabiana & Jai Paul both came up in London. And both Jai Paul & D'Angelo have been sampled to hell, and not always respectfully. Probably Pino too, for that matter. But, not sure what else, though I guess Jai Paul & D'Angelo probably share influences (Prince etc..), and Pino played with plenty of those influences.

Something about Jai is his music could totally be skipped if you don't give it time. BUT when you take time to listen it grows so deep and becomes something insanely great. Probably one of the handful of artists these days that I actually want to listen to their songs over and over.
