His shooting obviously not getting better, neither is his speed nor physicality. Now we've seen the quality of our academy graduates, I doubt he's going be ahead of Elliot/Jones and other youngsters who did well on their debut.
@@mohamedouf5021 Nah, he's not a wide player, he's a number 10. Even Elliott is not suited to play LW in Liverpool's system under Klopp, he only does cause Liverpool doesn't have a good backup LW to Salah. Wide players under Klopp need pace to get in behind on counters to make the most of the role. Carvalho is a 10 like Coutinho or James Maddison and Liverpool don't have that role. He could absolutely however play the Wirtz role in Alonso's system. He also can't play 8 well in Klopp's system because he is not good enough defensively.
@@dundalis you have apoint maybe he s suiting alonso s syst more but the guy is too shy he needs confidence cause it s the reason behind karius being rubbish and the reason behind wes morgan making pfa team of tge year . And salah is a rw bro.
@@mohamedouf5021 Yeah obv meant RW, not left. The only way to build confidence for a player like Carvalho is to play him in his best role. You play him out of position where he can't play well his confidence will go down the toilet. IMO Coutinho was the same, he lacked confidence and was very inconsistent when he came to Liverpool, Inter played him out of position on the wing where he was not good, which is why they sold him to us, but he played 10 under Rodgers and built his confidence back. Even when Rodgers played Coutinho on the wing, he always played central. Klopp wingers have to stay wide in general play.
He has to be a fighter and not relying on his quality alone. He needs to fight for his spot in a team. The quality is evident for everyone to see but that mentality monster isn't in him yet. That's why he couldn't play much in RB Leipzig
I feel like klopp can't fit him into our squad's style of play. Hopefully with a new manager he gets his opportunities with us. He has the talent, just needs to take this next step.
we can only pray for him, that the next liverpool manager finds a way to fit him into our style of play. because he wouldnt make it into a jürgen klopp starting eleven for sure, too much of a flair player
He had the opportunity to be part of RB Leipzig CL run and could barely get game time ...he has the skills but there is an arrogant attitude which some coaches wouldn't tolerate
@SugarmanJ116 and this is based on your many attendances at training for the aforementioned clubs and also Hull where he is still going strong. Did anyone order a plate of waffle and a side of good ol fashioned tripe
@@thekenneth8232 I think premier league is too strong for him, technique doesn't work when you can't stand for it. I think the same problem was with Minamino. In PL you must be physically and technically prepared.
Love seeing Fab getting his form back. Perhaps with a new manager coming into Liverpool, Fabio will have an opportunity to establish himself. He doesn't have Elliot's work rate but few do... Fab has a softer foot, perhaps better decision making... He definitely has the quality to play in Liverpool's first team.
hull's manager said he a great lad off the pitch and loved him when he arrived, so it's he learned from his mistakes and fixed whatever attitude problem he had, or maybe klopp just didnt fancy him as much, its hard to tell what happened there
What happens to our young stars when klopp leaves, which coach or manager will believe in them like klopp did? How I wish Pep Lindjers stayed back to keep up the good works of Klopp until Xabi Alonso matures as a future Liverpool coach.
I realise now why he was sent out on loan. He slows the play down too much. 1. Instead of directly feeding the ball, he seems to pass lofted balls, which kills the momentum of the attack. 2. He dribbles into dead ends more often than not or has no momentum with his take-ons. I do believe the Championship is more unforgiving for slower plays/wasteful possession, so he should get sorted in a couple of seasons.
@@ghettablkgffb me too, just exciting times for liverpool. Sad that Jurgen is leaving but I think with the right management of the club the future is bright. Do you got a favourite academy talent from LFC? I am very impressed by Jayden Danns.
@@allardvandergiessen829 I've got three .. I like koumas , I like Bobby Clark and Jayden danns , also honourable shout Connor Bradley. Maybe we don't class him as a academy boy because he's done a loan at Bolton but he's still 20 .. but who I say is ready physically for first team football Bobby Clark and Jayden danns mentally. Koumas seems mentally ready I'm not to sure with the physical side yet , but he's like Jota he's got deadly finishing, we just have to give him minutes.. so the physical demands clark and danns . I think Dan's probably the best actual 9 we got currently (Jota out , and I don't like Nunez as just a 9 I like him all over the frontline , wings etc ) . I'll give Danns minutes against forest . Like klopp would to a gakpo or someone else in the frontline if Jota was fit . Danns got the eye for goals . I like them all . I like McConnell but he needs a bit more game time.. lol let me stop tho to sum it up Clark and danns, maybe koumas
@@ghettablkgffb oh yeah conor is amazing as well of course, same as quansah. Just like I sad: with the right management (like appointing new manager, staff, director etc.) of the club this summer, the future will be bright.
Tyler Morton is seriously underrated lad who is performing quietly, he's had two great stints out on loan now. I think he has all the tools to be a mainstay in number 6 role.@@allardvandergiessen829
Exciting player , just hope he develops a bit of an aggressive side to him @ times he seems to go down a bit too easy when he can ride the tackle and hit a pass
He wants to be a 10. Liverpool don't play with a 10. If they did play with a 10, he wouldn't be it, because he's not yet good enough to be the 10 for a club like Liverpool. He couldn't even get a game at Leipzig. Some players are simply too focused on playing a specific position that they struggle to evolve. In the clips, he shows some nice touches but too many unnecessary touches. That's fine in a second division, but at the top end of the top flight, that's not going to work. Curtis Jones would destroy the Championship, but his showboating style did little for him in the Liverpool team - he's had to learn to pass more quickly, to work harder defensively.
I like what I saw, but these clips are against opponents a level below what he would face in the Premier League. Who would he displace, a healthy Curtis Jones, Elliott, Jota, McCallister, Endo?
Still looks slow, still needs better finishing. The big difference between him and someone like Harvey Elliot, though, is Harvey is a workhorse. Can run all day. If Carvalho can get his fitness up, he can definitely be a contributor in the Premier League.
Does he still have the poor attitude though? I'd hope playing there (I saw the feature of Football Focus this week, they look like they train without any great facilities, very much grass roots) might have taken it down several pegs, but time will tell on that one. He looked too easy to brush out of the way when he played for Liverpool last year, maybe more time in the Championship will solve that too. If both of those things happen, he might be worth a second chance.
Don't leave kid make it permanent, then build your name make Big move out of England, other top 4 leagues I say go bvb get endorsement deals there and boom
At the top level Fabio makes some strange decision and needs to mature more. Countino improved a lot when Suarez was at Liverpool and improved is mentality which is why Barca signed him. If Fabio can improve on his decision making ability which includes not losing possession easily then he will have a future. He need to learn when to use body to draw in tackles. For instance Mane, Jack Grealish are excellent examples of not only driving the ball forward but have very low ball retention which is a massive asset for possession at the top end of the pitch. If they lost the ball it would be most probably for a free kick because they know how to draw in the challenge.
It's a question of his reaction when the team doesn't have the ball, or when he gets fouled and doesn't get a free kick. He stops playing and sulks for a bit. Klopp doesn't have time for that. Mentality monster, Fabio is not.
