actually his career was almost ruined by a stalker who (as I remember) sent him horrible messages over a 5-year period which was what made him leave Napoli. It turned out it was a close person in his inner circle who he trusted and it had a massive negative effect on his life.
@@antonio.nirta8821 bro Nesta Maldini and Cannavaro and many others are the benchmark of great defenders, the world loves them and respects them. Pirlo is one of the best deep-lying playmakers ever. Your country is great, yeah maybe Italy (the south in particular) is economically imbalanced but saying this is why people don't value Quagliarella is some conspiracy theory / inferiority complex nonsense also how are you going to say everyone wants to dominate your country since the dawn of time when your country pretty much invented the idea of empire
@@ParisianWeetabix I may have exaggerated a little, obviously it has nothing to do with the context, but we are not talking about any inferiority complex, leaving the great champions alone, in Italy football is the mirror of society, since you spoke of ancient Rome, as the coliseum was for Roman society the more the games were spectacular the more the empire was strong, right now Italian football is in decline because Italian society is in decline and all this stuff.
@@antonio.nirta8821 okay and it's great that you're proud of your country (and kind of xenophobic that you disparage english but w/ever we gotta communicate somehow) but acting like italy's decline is a result of some grand plan of "northern europe" seems like you're suggesting there's nothing you or italy can do to stop these imagined enemies - an inferiority complex. the enemy of italian society isn't "northern europe", the enemies are the corrupt f*ckers that are everywhere in europe and the world, and they're all of our enemies, not just italy's or sicily's. xenophobia and divisiveness won't make you superior
Fabio was one the most underrated players of the past 20 years. He was much better than so many better-known and overhyped players out there. He was always a humble and introverted pro, which was refreshing to see.
One of the greatest forwards in Serie A history, the numbers don't lie. Absolute legend of Italian football and so underrated. His 26 goal haul in the 18/19 season was unreal at 35 years old and a joy to watch. Top striker.
Tho most impressive shooting skills ever. Just like JJ Okocha, his career wasn't the biggest in numbers but the quality is still top level. Mr. Wondergoal.
How Quags hardly played for the Azzurri in the 2010’s is one of the greatest tragedies and travesties of the modern Italian game.. No one could score like him, no one. Instead, the coaches favoured players like Eder and Pelle. Imagine Quags in the 2012-2014-2016 competitions.. 😢💔
Tres cosas: 1ro) Increíble cómo nunca escuché de éste crack sino hasta ahora que se retira 2do) me hizo recordar a Marco Van Basten y 3ro) infravalorado brutalmente Pero qué cualidades, qué matador!
One of the highest ranking when it comes to sheer beauty of the goals rather han just the quantity. His vision, intuition, timing and execution speed have always been top class.
WOW.. in second place after Zlatan, Quaglia is the striker with the most beautiful goals ever Very underrated and low profile he was my favorite at his time with Juve, it was a crime to let him go
Thanks for this - my favourite striker of the past 20 years. Spectacular when the ball is in the air and magnificent at receiving, turning and shooting early - it's like he has eyes on the back of his head. It's a pity some of the camera quality for the earlier goals isn't great, but you can only work with what you have. It'd be great to see the goals from his amazing Sampdoria season in sharp focus. Great video.
I looove this kind of strikers, he shoots as soon as he gets a chance, and scores from pretty much every angle, funny thing is he makes it look so simple 😅
The quality of the video could have been done a little better but Fabio Quaglia phenomenal has done stuff that the most prolific players or strikers don't even get halfway through
@@ciromertens I think you can only do what you can with the quality you have to play with, it's quite crazy how the quality of footage wasn't really there in the 00s compared to the 10s - great video. Best scorer of great goals of his generation.
