Fabio the Indian Ringneck Bathtime with Gabriel 

L Bradley unfortunately not even with a tub of water he will still sit under the tap. My boy loves his running water no matter how hard I try to offer still water 😂

Yeah Fabio is a very loving bird to babies. When he first met Gabriel when he was 2.5 weeks he was in heaven. As soon as we walked in the door he flew into the box with all the babies and was regurgitating for them. Very close and loving brothers with the typical daily fights and not wanting to share toys, but if we separate them, they just cry for each other. Gabriel is 6 months now and following in Fabmans foot steps in the talking department ☺️

Aww that Is amazing! You are very lucky :) Raydn just cries out for me all the time, even though we have another male IRN downstairs, but when I try put them together, the one downstairs just goes for my baby blue.. I hope one day Raydn will talk.. He's a very noisy bird.. Has started mimicking sounds ;D

Parrot People just keep bath time fun and encouraging. Never force them to bathe. Some birds like to be sprayed with a light mist, some like running water (like my guys) and some love to just have a bowl of water. My guys won’t bathe in warm water either.

She's obviously been bathing them this way since they were little, and they're used to it. Other than that, they love bathing. You can tell they're enjoying it by their body language. They're puff their feathers out. If they were unhappy about the water, or being washed -- you'd see them pull all their feathers tight to their bodies and generally seem unhappy or trying to get away from the situation.

Birds are birds. They have to keep themselves clean somehow because animals are like humans and like being clean. Me and my mom have a birdbath in our yard and finches drink or take baths there.

I’ve allowed my birds to choose how they bathe they have chosen they prefer running water. I get so much hate for it haha but it’s what they like! 🙂

I never said that, I mean yes, clipping feathers is to prevent them from flying into things, but some birds want to fly around enjoy some "freedom", I never dared to clip my birds wings and this Comment above wasn't supposed to sound mean.

MuffinPeach then you don’t understand clipping. My boys can still fly with clipped flight feathers. It’s very well known for people against clipping to only spew ill advised non sense and fear mongering techniques. Birds with the correct clipped feathers can indeed still fly and land safely. There is different levels of clipping and I advise anyone to speak to their avian vet before proceeding. I unfortunately have very clumsy fliers (they were able to learn fully how to fly before any clips were done) and they fly full speed into walls, doors, etc. They have had many injuries and for their safety and well being we keep them clipped so they can’t fly full speed and go up into the ceiling. Many birds over time gain very strong wing muscles and with little to no flight feathers can fly very well and gain height despite non clippers to say it causes weak muscles. I am also a firm believer it does not cause depression and or anxiety, my birds are far from depressed and love their life. I believe people need a proper education on these things and to see the other side before throwing a round there comments/assessments of a situation without having the proper knowledge and experience. My African grey was sick as a baby he came missing a toe etc. His wings just never grew back due to his illness and after 4 years and he’s on the mend, he is finally fully flighted but he has no desire to fly. We trim his flight feathers as he’s very accident prone he’s broke his beak numerous times over the years, our avian vet calls him a monkey rather than a bird. sangeeta pareek Fabio and Gabriel are boys and birds bathe differently. They do get wet after a while.
