ya microsoft ruined them. They wanted to make a really big great rpg world again. Fable 4 they planned to be really good and single player. They wanted it to have kind of a dark feel to it like bloodborne. But fucking microsoft said no phil spencer said now, and made them work on that shitty multiplayer fable legends. We almost had fable 4 but microsoft said now. It was going to be like fable 1 the director said.
Renkim Twins dude when I was young i played it a million times too. You and I hear the same music and that music brings us back. We feel those experiences we had in the game as we listen. Both our experiences so different, yet it comes from the same game and is awakened by this same music.
This gives me nostalgia without even playing it in my life. My first time I saw a Fable game was when my uncle played the second one. I was too young to understand it, but when Fable III came out, my dad got it. I played it and I loved it. Since the second Fable, I fell in love. If only I had the same feeling for this one, for I get a nostalgic feeling for a game I’ve never played. Thank God there’s now a Fourth Fable.
I'll never forget when Fable 1 came out: we had run Morrowind into to ground and were itching for a new fantasy adventure. Fable drops and we have a Halo LAN party until about midnight, then pop in Fable. We're in my friend's dirt-floor garage and have our t.v.'s and Xbox's on plywood to keep them clean. It was pretty uncomfortable, but those memories of when I became an honorary citizen of Albion will live on. I miss it!
+ArtforLife =( yeah, it's such a great mythical, colorful, and yet dark world. it personally died for me once Fable III came out where it lost its root. Too futuristic with sour game design, and now Lionhead is done for.
We're not pressing forward because people are still talking about Saturn V rockets as if they're great. A rocket from the 60s is still talked about. That rocket should be history. But nobody wants to talk about the future so very few people are advancing frontiers.
Not so fast, there. I’m from the future, April of 2018, and I assure there’s going to be a new Fable. Just type “Fable” in the search bar, and you should see Fable 4.
When i hear it, i can remember that magic day... i played the Fable 2 disc, sitted on the sofa, heared this music and started reading the Fable 2 little book to learn more of Albion... It was my first day in Albion, the day that the magic of it was with me in my life... Fable series, such magic games... Sorry for my english.
I've been die hard fan since 2004. I've played all the games except legends collected ll hidden keys gargoyles gnomes etc, even got the DLC, novels, and short stories!!
I love this one the best! It has that old sad mystery to it. When Christians now in days dare challenge your belief's and claim you are either a heathen or pagan for not believing in Christ, but before that we had our imagination and a child's heart that lead the way to our dreams... to fable.
Yes, this does have a little sadness in it, as well as innocence, but loss of innocence as well. When humans grew weary and tired of pain, all while overindulgening themselves in pleasure, they looked for someone else to blame. It was easy to point fingers and find those who committed such horrendous acts. However, the pain could never truly go away because that darkness was within themselves as they failed to continously search for answers, settling for mediocre ones. While the darkness continued to spread, the light shined nevertheless, yet growing dimmer and dimmer as each day passed by. But before, (possibly), there was only joy and innocence, knowing only of good. As time passed however, and as beings were let be (free to be who they were), there grew a loss of innocence, with good and evil now co-existing together. Such blurred the lines between the two, confusing one for the other, and even doubting if either even existed in the first place. Now there were those pointing fingers as a whole rather than sects of a group. Nevertheless, there were truthful answers, answers hard to find, but easy to replace. So when those came who doubted and even mocked others about having such beliefs, there still existed that dimming light, a light that did not conform to the majority, emotional turmoil, or settle for mediocrity. And so after, we see the town trying to uphold itself, masking itself with perfection, only to crumble and fall apart eventually, a town that appeared and tried to be normal, but was far from it. Now lies the hero as the last one standing and Jack of Blades, with his mask. The mask covered with lies, spreading all over the world as truth, and yet it still seems perfectly in place. One of many faces to blend and tune in to those around him, knowing that using more than one will be easier to capture the souls of many. Not only then would Jack blatantly lie, but he would actually use certain truths to mask even bigger lies, now posing it as the one and only truth. The hero, still standing however, would fight till his last breath, to proclaim and act upon the real one and only truth, even if it meant his death, while Jack of Blades simultaneously tried to convince others that the issue at hand is merely insiginficant, with very little consequences, and rather just a fable. That then would be a fable within a fable, and there within would lie the true meaning of.......Fable.
Finally finding this after many years brings a tear to my eye... I had so many fond memories of "Fable: The Lost Chapters," and "Fable II." (although, I stayed away from "Fable III" for a while...) It still gives me chills listening to this. Just the vibe I get from a soothing and nostalgic song... It just glimmers with beauty. I still remember the words spoken in the beginning of Fable II wich had stuck with me forever... "And so our story begins..." (In all honesty, "Fable II" is my favorite of the 3.)
:) aaaah this song is smoothing like ur dreaming of something or someone that you love or like or daydreaming in a huge field with a friend waiting for u to wake up or thinking of nothing but somehing that soothes ur entire body like sleeping. By far the most greatest song in the Fable series
My dad was a really big Fable fan.. a year ago he was diagnosed with cancer, he passed a few weeks back. I'll probably never play a fable game the same way again. This song specifically is one that is going to be played at his funeral tomorrow.
If there is a true Fable 4 in the works, it better return the series to its roots. Fable and the Lost Chapters were some the best games I've ever played. Just masterpieces.
This song is too powerful for me to comprehend..! It's just so ..Pure and great!!! But when I listen to it, it makes me think of "The Old Kingdom" All the ancient mysteries, and other special and different goodies.. I Love it :)
This song makes me feel like I'm underwater and I'm about drown, then as soon as I realize I can breathe underwater this starts playing. I look to the surface and its not there, only more water like I'm miles deep but its all still light blue. I release a bit of air and bubbles come out of my mouth but don't rise, just stay in front of my face like time has come to a stop. There is nothing there but there is, and any time i touch something it disappears.
I still remember having the original Xbox in highschool and being enraptured by this song for the first time. To this day it's haunting melody pulls on that otherwise untouchable chord somewhere deep in my breast.
perfect to sort through your thoughts in a curious, wonderful manor. Such a serene song, upon your will, can take you out of a portion of reality, subjecting your mind only to the melodic notes, each one hitting just right to create a perfect emotion. Worth countless listens.
when i listen to this song..its like someone is telling me a sad tale...and with all my power, i cannot help..all i do is stare at their tears running down their face..cheeks turning red..i guess some people bury their face on your chest as to not see their sad tale.....
Listening to the fable soundtrack brings me right back to my childhood. I miss the days that I would play this game. Fable 2 and 3 can't even compare to the masterpiece that was Fable 1. These songs hold so much nostalgia, so many memories :')
Reminds me of the Butterfly House. I really wish I could live in that place. I don't care about the rest of Fable... but that one behind that demon door, it was just so peaceful
@w0uterrr thank you for using other languages here. As an American, used to so much whiteout and hegemonic domination, it is good to see that this site does not have to be dominated by American language.
i would say that, sure. I aspire to be one anyway. At nearly 14 my emotions are becoming increasingly stronger, providing a wonderful canvas to express. I can't wait to see my capabilities in the future :)
Always when i listen to this song i look at my hands thinking "It's all within them, my memories and future, my pride and guilt, hardships and possibilities, my life and choice"
@xxxxSTAZZZxxxx They did put this into Fable 2. You can hear when you pause your game and in the main menu, but it is a little revamped. They also did a similar piece called 'Marcus Memorial', which has a lot more texture in it.
I think about my own destiny and, despite how hard it is to live a life of fantasy in today's world, I am determined to live my dreams and be my own hero. I hear Jack's voice asking me where I will go and how much comfort I'm willing to sacrifice to make that happen. I hear him ask me who I truly am.
You know, they shouldn't go further into the Future with Fable. Lets Make a sequel to I with the downfall of the Heroes guild or how ti was founded. I want the old Medieval feeling back... I still got this game on a special shelf in my room since its release now. I still love this game, and its my favorite game of all time. Bring back Fable! Screw Industrial revolution and guns. Give the Hero guild back to us!
@SpankbankINC i think dreams are just the concoction of things in our minds, (particularly those of recent events or events that hold significant meaning to us) and our conscious doesn't know what to do with them, so our unconscious puts them together to try to make sense of them. most of the time, dreams will be obscure and random, yet the dreamer will have a sense of understanding of what is going on though upon awakening, and if you remember the dream, you'll find the dream strange.
