My sister did her own flowers for her wedding, which alternated between being wonderful and a nightmare (she got a little TOO creative in some places) but over all the result was gorgeous and a lot of fun. Gerber Daisies are her favorite, she'd approve. :D Thanks so much for sharing your special day with us!

The florist I work at uses similar cubes and they can be rather difficult to work with in terms of keeping the flowers in the vase. Unless there's going to be a lot of flowers in the vase to keep them from shifting position or even falling out, we use a rubber band at the bottom of the stems and then hide that by using either bear grass or a ti leaf and wrap it around the inside of the vase. Both of those can be difficult to work with as well, but it gives the arrangement a nice, clean look.

Hi Theodore if U don't use the navy flowers U can make your vase DIY from plane jars and spray paint and I think it's great because U can choose the perfect color

how about a blend of the yellow flowers and (very sparingly diffused in the bouquet) blue small flowers? might actually look good and give a a subtle reference to the blue on the runner :)

You can dye any white flowers with navy blue food color. It's so much easier than hunting for a real navy blue flowers ;D

Nice Blue and white fabric

Delphinium summer nights and Primula 'Belarina Cobalt Blue are both a nice dark blue color, not sure how close to navy. Also Blue lady lenten roses are dark blue as well as Muscari grandifolium grape hyacinth, but they've both almost got a kind of purple to them. There are varieties of Caryopteris that might be close to navy. Ooh, and bearded Irises in the color blueberry bliss are a beautiful dark blue color

I don't think there are "real" navy flowers but what you can do is buy white flowers (like white carnations) and food blue for coloring in the water, it'll quickly turn the flower entirely that color or have an ombré effect of it. Takes maybe an hour?

Since your wedding colors are mustard and navy, you should dye the water for the flowers navy

you can create your own navy flowers using flower paint sprays or dyes in the water. if you google it there are a million tutorials

Alice in Wonderland; paint the roses red! Meaning you can paint/tint/spraypaint it navy blue :3 Cheaper. More fun.

If you really want navy flowers, you can always paint them! I'm pretty sure that kind of paint must exist!

the flowers will soak up the color of the water and the petals will change colors - in his case green. not a good look. If he had white flowers he can do that to get blue petals but probably not the exact navy shade he would want.
