I have just unpacked a 20ft container after 10 years... I can't believe how much vintage fabric I stored. It's exciting and overwhelming lol. Love your haul.
Hello 🙋♀️ I am so excited to have visited your channel! This is my first time. I watched and listened, while feeling so in awe of your talent and delighted with the beautiful fabric you purchased and exquisite clothing you made. Thank you for sharing your vision and creativity. I loved, literally, everything you said, your stylish taste, and the loving respect shown for the creative works of others. I am sure each and every person who either made the happy, funky, intricately precious and/or uniquely designed piece would feel real joy knowing that their creation/s found a revered place in your heart and a happy welcome into your creative world. I am sure those who may have sold or donated these unbelievable treasures would feel likewise. I look forward to seeing what happens next! To be sure, I have already subscribed❤
Hello Anita! Thank you so much for visiting my channel! I'm so grateful for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the fabric and clothing creations. Your appreciation for my vision and creativity means a lot to me. 💜
Some wide leg pants Christine, or even a jumpsuit for that first “funky” baumwole fabric. 🥰 really liked that navy large dotted fabric as well. Can’t wait to see what you make with them. 🤗
Well done with your thrift finds! I love that vibrant pink quilt cover and the floral flat sheet - so pretty! I recently bought some linen from a thrift shop (we call them ‘op shops’ here in Australia) and one of them is a flat sheet with a geometric hedge-like print of green and scattered blue roses on a white background. I can’t wait to make a square-neck dress with it!
AWESOME FINDS!!!!! That green sheet is my fave of the lot! I seriously would make a kimono style something outta that, slip it on and sit on my back deck drinking coffee and lounge on a weekend morning!
The minute I saw the green/orange print I thought shorts and cute crop top! That would look so cute on you. You really scored with the vintage finds, I buy sheets/other linens/home dec all the time. It's all fabric! As long as you pair the right pattern with the fabric it will work. Plus, old sheets are great for making muslins for any woven pattern. The piece you thought was tatting looked like drawn thread to me, tatting is used mostly as edging. The mint piece I don't think was to be used as a sheet. It may have been made from sheeting but was possibly a spread. You wouldn't cover it with a blanket. I guess it could be used as a summer sheet/blanket but it may have been meant as a spread. I could be wrong, Europeans may use bedding differently than we do. Anyway, it's all gorgeous and I'm mint green with envy, lol ♥️
Haha! Thank you for your fun comment! I love your idea of the green/orange print for shorts and a cute crop top, that sounds adorable! Vintage finds are indeed a treasure, and repurposing linens for fabric is a fantastic idea. Thanks for clarifying the difference between tatting and drawn thread. I'm thrilled you find it all gorgeous💜
I love up cycling old linens. What an awesome haul, finding duvets are such a score of fabric. I recently found a dkny duvet of shirt weight fabric with shell buttons for $6! Those all look like table clothes
The handmade linens that you find and transform are my favorites!! Please show us all the magical garments you make from them. By the way, how tall are you?
thank You for the answer. I live near Palm Springs California. We don't have many started sales. This next three month the temperatures raices to 110, 115. And everything slows down. I love it here.
