I had to wait until I finally had a trimmer it's so much easier that way! Trying to hand trim them doesn't work out for me so well and I have no idea where my rotary cutter and mat are to evenly cut the fabric to start! Which works just as well!
It is so VERY pretty and sparkly! When you first got the blue glitter out. I thought maybe she's going to put different colored Glitters whatever matches in the turtles like the blue and white the green-and-yellow Etc. & the shells 😆 I wonder how that would look too? 😆 😆 I mean if you ever do another one. This one so gorgeous
I'm not sure how that would look maybe as some accents on certain spots! 🤔 and yes I still have your cup here! It is boxed and ready the box was misplaced for a bit and then it's been freezing and freezing is just about as bad as the heat! But I promise to get it on its way soon!

You absolutely can just as long as the napkin is big enough for your cup! Tissue paper too, although some cheap cheap cheap ones may almost vanish lol but same method mod podge (tack it over and over will work great for this part with napkins and tissue paper!) Apply the napkin then several coats of mod podge to seal!
I got it for Christmas but Amazon I forgot to link it. Cup Edging Tool amzn.to/3Ff37M2 it's a game changer I would never have done a fabric tutorial if I didn't have this! It can be done without if you can measure and cut fabric really cleanly.
