I love that you're supporting who your son wants to be while also paying attention to what his peers might be up to. Hard balancing act. But who wouldn't love all those awesome earthy, lizardy prints?
Those are some beautiful fabrics! I think my favored are the one with cheetahs and the border print. And the dinosaurs. And the lizards. I guess I love them all, lol. Making clothes for your kid is a joy, but it’s hard to know what’s gonna be accepted in their peer group and what’s gonna be considered weird. I think you picked some winners, though. I don’t think you can go wrong with dinos and lizards among the 6 year old crowd.
When I am in New York I shop there every now and then. I never knew they had fabric sales. I really like the quality of the fabric there, but yes its pricey.
The brown stretch cotton twill has been in and out of my cart so many times! Especially bc it comes in a green colorway, too. I was imagining a jumpsuit/boiler suit that's half and half or colorblocked in some way. But you can't get swatches of it and I wasn't sure about the feel or scale. So glad to see you got it!
