Fabricating the ultimate light bar for the Offroad Wrecker!

Spent a few days Fabricating my light bar for the Offroad wrecker. My best friend and Owner of Custom Exhaust Specialties ordered my tubing and used his custom mandrel bender to help bend the tubing for the light bar. It took some time but got it all figured out and welded up. I even used the metal skulls a fabricated for my wrecker in Afghanistan for my grab handles for the Offroad Wrecker. For now, I just spray painted the light bar, I will powder coat it later just in case I need to change anything.

Looks amazing! When you said an exhaust place was going to bend your tube, my heart sank. Then you said mandrel bender, and all was right with the world! 😊 The tube cutter and seam flattener outer was cool to see Thanks for the video.

Interesting approach! At the start I thought you were an idiot for using such lightweight exhaust tubing, but then you tripled up the hoops and totally redeemed yourself. I think the combination is a great balance of strength and weight for your application. Looks great and I'm sure it functions great.

Thanks, FYI the tubing is .120 wall not exhaust tubing. My buddy Shayne used to bend a lot of tubing for a bumper company so he still has the tooling to do that size tubing.
