L'oreal is one of my favorite brands from the drugstore, I've done a couple of videos reviewing the products. I have several of the items you showed but I find they don't have a great selection of eyeshadows. Thanks for the review, have a fabulous weekend my friend! 🐣🐰

I like the idea of drug store products, because I can buy more with less, and some of the dupes for more expensive products are amazing :). So many products I would have never thought of trying before watching your channel … and several I have now passed over due to your reviews :).

Thank you for doing this, I have been wanting to try some L’Oréal make up vs the more expensive brands. Can you do a video on brushes and how to use them. I have been wanting to get some really good brushes but hesitate to spend a lot of money on brushes in case I don’t like them.

You’re right, that foundation is very nice for dry skin like mine. It’s not too dewy at all and leaves a beautiful finish. I don’t use a lot of it but always apply my spf as the last step of my skin care routine so am getting the sunscreen I need.

I like the one brand video. Great idea to use the Lumi Glotion on shoulders and décolletage! I don’t care for that foundation either. I had 2 shades and even though I didn’t mind the glow, I felt it was kind of heavy and just looked like I was wearing makeup. Plus they oxidized. I do use many L’Oréal products through, especially mascara and the eyeshadow monos are great for daily go to looks.

Thank you so much! I have been buying more and more L'Oreal. I love the Mauve blush! So getting a full face will help me make further purchases. Greatly appreciated. I had planned to take advantage of the Sephoria sale but in the Canadian site they raised their prices between 30%-50% over night. So... Glad to have L'Oreal which I have been liking

You're speaking my language here. I love L'Oreal, have several of their fdtns tho now I've switched to the NYX. Love the e/s quads and the ones from that line that are singles, didnt love Le Liner when I first got it, now I do, their mascaras are the best for me, and they rarely miss with lip products. The make up you used today looked very nice and finished. I would like to get the crayon concelear because I have the black and blue discoloration on the sides of the bridge of my nose. Lisa, can you please do a video about light foundation/ bb cream and pores!!! The only‘foundation’ I wear is Elta MD tinted sunscreen because when it dries and sets my skin and pores look smooth. Pretty much every foundation I’ve ever tried accentuates my pores, fine lines and crepe-ness. Thanks!

Great video! I tend to gravitate towards more expensive brands, so it is great to see you use drugstore brands that work well so I can save some more money! I would enjoy other videos like this with any other brands. Have you done one with just Sephora Collection products? Curious about those as well.

Try setting with a matching eyeshadow…or try a different formula! Rimmel Scandaleyes, wet n wild 24 hour, makeup by Mario precision pro, Wunder2 all have eyeliners that set after about 20 minutes and they don’t budge, I have to really scrub to get them off my hand when I swatch or it’s on 2 days later!

Love your videos! Do you ever wear lip pencil under your lipstick or lip gloss? Do you have a drug store brand of self tanner that you recommend?

I don’t have a self tanner recommendation because I can literally go outside for 15 minutes and have a tan for the next three months (no exaggeration!). But I do wear lip liner under my gloss, usually if I’m going to a function out and want really long lasting color. I have found there’s only a couple that don’t wipe off because of the gloss. So my Lisa Eldridge and BK Beauty liners are long wearing. And I have shades that I like in both of them so those typically are the ones I wear most often. I have other lip liners that I do like i.e. Charlotte Tilbury, but they do not stay under a gloss as well. The best drugstore I I’ve tried is the NYX Professional Slide On Lip Pencil and Revlon Colorstay.

I love my Loreal Lumi Bronzer - I do highly recommend it. I have that foundation but haven't used it yet. I'm really not an SPF fan so I don't know how it wi work out. I'm not a fan of the Loreal eyeshadow formula - it hasn't worked out for me.

I love this look on you. How do you prep your skin before you put on your foundation? I've noticed on mine it doesnt look smooth. I use my moisturizer and then sunscreen then my primer concealer under my foundation for my dark spots. Maybe to many products? Help!

It could be! My sunscreen is well absorbed before I use my moisturizer primer, at least 20-30 minutes.

I was using the Rodana Fields lash boost serum and it was amazing and made my lashes and brows fill in like I was in my 30s. ( actually my 20 year old daughter use and have super long and thick lashes). I stopped using it when I noticed the eyelids on my 20-year-old daughter were getting kind of brown and then I looked at mine, I have darker skin than she does so it’s less noticeable, but I did notice the darkening on my eyelids, So I stopped to see if it would fade and it has but not a lot. But then again it’s only been a few months. I am trying a lash serum and brow serum from City Beauty that is a conditioner only, it does not have the prostaglandins to see if they work. So far, not as well as the Lash Boost… My daughter said they don’t care about the darkening on their eyelids, because they love their long lashes so much and don’t have to wear mascara

Great video, I have gone back to L’Oréal make-up and Maybelline Great Lash recently. My next hunt is for good anti-aging skin care from Canadian drugstores. I have finished samples of Estée Lauder night repair serum which I loved, but too much $$$! Do you think it is best to use products from one skin care line or is it still possible to get effective results when mix and match brands? (Ex. Avene, Olay, Neutrogena…)

I tried one of their foundations years ago, like 10 to 15 years ago. I got a headache from the fragrances that were in it. They’re Voluminous Mascara is great though…

I stopped using powder a few years ago. I’ve heard that it settles in to fine lines.

I’ve always used my hand until I tried the BK beauty brush and now the s other brush worked well. It’s does apply a little lighter, and buffs it more into the pores, so it’s not sitting on top of skin, really helpful with a medium to fuller coverage foundation. I still apply serum or more watery foundations with my fingers!
