Im a metal vocalist, and if hes doing it right which it sounds like he is. How he vibrates his voice during it and all is super clean. I highly doubt he actually hurt his throat. It takes real skill to get shit like this down, and he for sure has it.
Fabvl has ascended. I love how some nerdcore artists now make songs that are doubles. They fit perfectly the theme and vibe of the characters depicted in the source material, while at the same time the songs can stand on their own as an artistic expression without the knowledge of the source material. If someone has never seen or read Berserk, they can enjoy this just as much. Yet it captures Guts perfectly. This is another level. I feel like Fabvl has ascended in this way. So did Shwabadi and Rustage. So for me, these are the three artists that are the best at it, and have transcended some of the limitations of nerdcore. Also, Scru's cam cannot handle Fabvl, blacked out from the vocals. As Scru said. If you turn this song up, it can move objects. It moved the cam alright :D
Wait but this is literally what Fabvl, Divide and DPS have been doing since the begining no? They have always (especially in the last year) made songs that fit the themes, but never reference anything from the source material specifically.
@@thenwgamer3567 I am most familiar with Fabvl from the mentioned artists, I only dipped my toes into the water that is Divide and DPS so I can't really comment on that without making an ass out of myself. As for Fabvl, the aspects were always there, but I can't recall many songs that are this well structured in the lane of working both with and without the source material. Especially not early Fabvl. That's not a diss on the guy, I enjoy his early work as well, this just feels to me so much better. But that can be my subjective love of the style and the source material taking over me trying to objectively viewing the songs. If so, feel free to give me flak for it = ))

Don't even need to read all of it (though still should... I need to as well lol). Just watch the Golden Age anime and that's enough to make this really hit.
For me the line that hit the hardest was "Never gave me a warning, you just took off your mask" since it really makes you realise how sudden all of this was for Guts, just like that everything he knew & care about was gone by the hands of the man he looked up to most.

I love when Scru breaks down a bar and hypes it up a lot but doesn't hear the word correctly, genuinely makes me smile. He said 'war' not 'wound', but all love.
It’s crazy how you mistook the word war for wound, yet you tied it in so well to the actual story of berserk WITHOUT having seen it just by listening to the music.

My dream collab is definitely Fabvl and Ty wild. Fabvl’s intensity matches Tys vicious writing style. Fabvl can also simultaneously be melodic on the hook. It’d be insane
The fact is this song is best fabvl has made hands down, the lyrics and atmosphere is damn near perfect, but man does this hit different after you have actually read the Berserk story. He hits the loss Guts has had so perfectly that it feels like I'm listening to Guts' thoughts.

Add Becko to the list of artists a FabvL collab would be awesome with. I typically like the heavier side of hardcore/metal fusion, but this was an interesting breath of fresh air.
Great reaction! There is a Berserk anime from 1997 but it isnt an ideal adaptation. Its really good, but since it tries to adapt the Golden Age in 25 episodes some things get removed and some of them hurt the story. Also the repeated animation and still images can be a problem to someone especially if you're not a fan of older animation. I would recommend you read the manga since there are no such issues with it and then watch the 97 anime if you want more. There is a movie trilogy from 2013 but i would only recommend if you REALLY want to see more berserk content and you want to see berserk in modern animation. And please dont ever watch the 2016/17 anime, its a disservice to the manga in every aspect.

These songs from FAVIL? I think that's it and from Divide have driven me too tears over these songs, especially since I have seen things and done things that would give a regular person nightmares for life. These songs scream my pain and anguish, when I have to be silent and suffer on my own.
FabvL said that he recorded all the screamy segments in one sitting without his throat hurting in the slightest cause he's using his diaphragm to speak and not his vocal chords
