Hello Sir, I'm an AI student from Karachi, Pakistan and I want to measure the size of a focused object in an image but the problem is the distance of that object from the camera is unknown, and I can not implement any reference object in the image. Interesting. Who about velocity ? Could we know speed of object from far away ? Let say we use astronomical telescope. We look at moon's surface and there's something move. Could we adjust its speed by using astronomical telescope as a web cam ?
I am 15 so idk much about python but if the object is moving towards you couldn't you measure the time it takes for the depth to decrease towards you and use that as time and then measure the amount the depth decreased by in that time and use that as distance . Then do distance/time to work out speed . would this work ?
if the object was moving from point a to point b would you be able to form a triangle ? using the depth as the two sides and a to b as the other side(we wouldn't know the length ) (from here I think I started to get very wrong)and then use the amount the camera tilts by to get an angle for the triangle and then because its an isosceles triangle we can work out the two other angles . Then with the sine rule i think its possible to solve the value of a to b . then use a to b distance/ time taken to reach b from A. I am not sure if anything i said will work
Sir whenever i am watching your tutorial, one or two modules are always updated and then exact source code doesn't work. Now that becomes a bit difficult to track the chhange in the module. if the module is updated, can you please inform us about the new code as that would be helpful.
