Love this video! It is a testimony to my life.I had a couple of friends who were gay men (RIP Andre & Johnny), and how we used to hang out and they would invite me to the balls of the 1970's... I love that 40 years later, I'm able to enjoy and embrace the scene again after all these years, being a straight woman
Thank you for this series! It's really insightful and it's good to see people recording these mothers and fathers of the dance styles that we love so much.
realest real of realness, ladies and gentlemen. benny has always been real. and that trait about him, I respect the most. let us be schooled. and take a lesson.
Fiercely made to Rock Benny I used to Dance in clubs and I danced on the floor I mixed it up with Brake dancing and Modeling on the floor it was fresh clean and Different I loved dancing
As a woman in vogue (who performs Old Way) I've felt some animosity from my trans sisters, but in general I feel like the scene is excited to see someone celebrating pop, dip and spin. I'm often the only person competing in my category 😅
What did Happen to Benny..I've seen a couple of times Javier talking over not that anything wrong with that Javier is Good AF but what did Happen to Benny?
