Here's how I understand is the DA has 30%,the ANC about 60% and the others as well but this only applies to the GNU but when it comes to the National assembly, all the parties in the GNU can not make 60% of all the seats in the National Assembly (400) without the DA so I added all the seats of the 5 parties and they make 43% of the national assembly meaning they need the DA and the ANC with the DA only make 60% of the National Assembly so basically the ANC and DA won't always need the other parties whereas the other parties will always need the DA .
