I no longer hide myself in hoodies but instead wear the most impractical crazy heels just to go to school for no reason other than it makes me happy. The first time I help a snake I was six, and I remember it very vividly. My family had been going grocery shopping and my siblings and I were exploring the local petco (it was a smallish town and we were a veritable gaggle with a count of 4, so we were not with our parents). My brother, 11 at the time, has always loved snakes and asked a female employee to hold a ball python. He was delighted by it, but then the employee turned to me and asked if I wanted to hold it too. My brother, wanting to share what in his mind was a lovely experience, pressured me into holding this snake (probably the chillest snake in existance), and as soon as it was in my hands I immediately burst into tears. 😂 Ofc now I love snakes. 😜 But at six, that snake seemed a lot bigger to me than my brother lol

I love snakes but HATE spiders. So I wasn’t going to watch this video when I first learned about it. But I decided to go ahead and watch it on my phone - smaller screen - and be ready to drop it if necessary. So glad I faced my fear. Loved watching you two. Still don’t want to get near a real spider, especially a tarantula - my heart is still beating fast from watching this - but I feel accomplished just having watched this.
