Face to Face with the Man Who Kidnapped and Tortured Me 

Hi Everyone. I would like to thank you all for your beautiful comments and offers of support. I am overwhelmed. 🥲 I did this podcast not under duress or was I forced into doing it, it was my idea and took over 2 years to do, as myself and Kevin did not want into “rush in” so we built our trust in each other after our Restorative Justice process/meeting back in 2021/2 and our friendship is still “work in progress” but keep posted for further podcasts! #whymewill . James hosted the podcast with pure professionalism and I thank him for agreeing to doing this podcast,I also hope it will help others to come forward and make that first step via Victims support or Why me charities in arranging that Restorative Justice meeting. The fact Will is still struggling in life and the bully is sat with fake teeth, financially well off and living a privilege life, shows you there really is no justice in this world.

Just what Will needed to hear ‘Kevin’s a dangerous man, he’s really well respected in the underworld, he knows a lot of really dangerous people’ glamourising the criminal! Unbelievable.

Will, if you're reading this I really want you to know how well people think you came across here. You are the bravest and strongest man I've ever seen on any of these podcasts - and i've probably watched a hundred or so over various channels. You deserve all the good things that come your way. You have my complete unwavering respect. Incredible ❤

This is totally disgusting. That poor man. And having to sit in front of the man that nearly killed him he should never feel the need to. Every time Kevin laughed at reminiscing it made me feel sick for the victim. Kevin has no real shame people like him never do. I really feel for the guy who has constantly got PTSD for life. I wish him well and all the help he deserves. Kevin deserves nothing.

The way he was talking about running over his legs and hitting him with an iron bar,he says it as if he was just going shopping,dont believe for one minute he feels bad for what hes done,Wills more of a man than the bully opposite him for coming on here and facing that guy.

Kevin tripped himself up saying he was told 2 weeks after the kidnapping that will was innocent then later states he only knew will was innocent when he told him.

I sometimes get from these interviews over the years that James is often on side with the criminals. Bit odd

The smug patronizing attitude of James English, kissing that vile murderers arse is beyond disgusting. I really think they lack enough self awareness to realize how awful they come across. Will deserves better than the way he was treated and spoken to on this show.

Watched multiple interviews over the last year with Kev, I feel people have fallen for him being some sort of 'nice guy' who has turned his life around. I think it's clear to see he's a total knob and is still most definitely an evil and dangerous guy who is fully at peace with all of his past, and I believe would do it all over again should he feel the need! He is by no means haunted by his wrongdoings that's for sure!

Kevin looks like he’s doing very well for himself nice watch nice clothes , books , tv appearances very much the celebrity villain , but we forget there are folk like these still walking around in a world that this man changed forever , there aren’t any celebrity victims , Kevin a changed man good for him and his family and society, but his victim will always be that , we had a coffee !!! I’m wondering if Kevin would have ever given him a second thought had he not been nicked and James keeps calling him a nice guy !!

Will if you’re reading, you didn’t deserve any of this. From Lee, the aftermath trauma, PTSD, the paranoia, the lack of support from police / health etc. everything!! You did not deserve any of this!!! Being able to sit in-front of this perpetrator that has caused you so much pain and misery. It highlights how strong and level-headed you are!! Kevin wants to believe he's being seen as an ashamed and sorry man. How he's actually coming across is trite as fuck and wanting to seem the hero of the story by promising to set Will up financially. Bleurgh. Nah sorry, don't like this interview.

I'm confused a bit. Kev stated that after he chucked him into the canal that a dog walker came by and helped him. Then Will stated he got out on his own under the bridge and hid for 4-5 hours behind a bush before he could pluck up the courage to knock on someone's door. I did also notice that whilst they are acting like this is therapy. There is a link to one of the events Kev is speaking at. This is to me just feels like a way for Kev to use James channel to in-directly advertise the event.

What a brave guy Will is. Deserves all the love in the world. I hope people give him the support he needs in his life. We need updates.

Imagine being falsely kidnapped, beaten, tortured, traumatised, hospitalised, to meet your maker in the flesh, only to be told "Im still young unless you wanna go in the boot of my car again" 😂 bruv lol

Listened to this at work this morning, was a really good listen, I struggled to get my head around how they're mates now, but stranger things have happened, good on him for working through it.

I think will is the bravest person I have ever seen,to sit face to face with the man that's put you through so much and to see that you are still terrified is an absolute credit to you still being able to sit there, also kevin saying sorry is the first step and you need to finance and help him set up a business so he can be his own boss and get his life back on track so he can finally live the life he has dreamed about and he has missed out on ,I think that is the very least you could do. 🙏

I met Will recently. What a lovely genuine guy a true gentleman. He has been very brave and strong to request to meet Kevin to help him face the many fears and difficulties he has suffered over the years following the attack. Kevin seems genuinely remorseful for what he did and I’m sure he is determined to help Will continue forward from the PTSD and suffering he has endured for many years. This is such an unusual and sad yet empowering situation.

They have both grown from this, such a strong man will and I hope you take from this even more positivity.

What a brave man will is to have his life ruined by kevin then to face kevin he should be very proud of himself. And hats off to kevin holding his hands up and you can tell kevin means what he is saying about doing everything he can for Will thats a real man. Can see the pair of them doing good things together

This guy got 20 years for a murder he didn't commit, so he SAYS anyway. What he fails to clarify is the crimes he did get away with, as intimated here. If he's so contrite, why not admit to all you've done? What he did to this guy WAS attempted murder. He kidnapped this poor bloke, beat him senseless with an iron bar, and then threw him unconscious into a freezing canal. If the water hadn't revived him, he would have drowned. That's attempted murder, clear as day. Maybe he got the sentence he should have got in the first place? Either way, the world was a better place without him on the streets. 41:20 and 55:54 for his lie about he didn't know anything about him being the wrong guy until much later. He knew 2 weeks after the assault, and could have put his mind at ease that he wasn't coming after him. Also, he said he had people at the court and outside who were going to sort out the victim. Why not go guilty, if you thought what you did was mistaken? Liars can't keep their lies straight. This moron is a liar.

God bless you Will. I really hope this has given you the closure you needed after all this time. So many years of your life lost due to the actions of someone else. I really hope your life improves massively and you get that house in the country side and can live out the rest of your life in peace. My heart is broken for him. I really hope that Kevin's remorse is as genuine as it seems, and I hope these two do become ambassadors for restorative justice. We need them in schools and YOI's speaking to our young people.
