Not Exactly, some event names will be different like view_item on GA4 is view_content on meta and begin_checkout is initiate_checkout etc. to learn more: developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/guides/gtm-server-side/
Thank you brother for this video but stape or Google cloud is a costly option and free option consumes in few days. So can we setup without Google cloud and stape??
Hi brother, nice video. I don't know if anyone is having the problem or not, but after creating the Google tag (GA4 tag) with actual GA4 data stream code I am seeing extra events in Facebook. For example, I created a button click event with GA4 event tags and it was for GA4 only but not with Facebook pixel. But this event is also showing in Facebook events manager without Facebook pixel tag. Also Scroll events are also seen in Facebook without any tags of Scroll in Both GA4 or Facebook pixel! Any idea why is this happening?
Because you're not filtering the events from GA4 you want to send to CAPI. By default, it's sending all events created in your browser GTM. You have to modify your CAPI trigger. At the moment, if you followed the steps in this video, you should only have only one condition : Client Name equals to GA4. You have to add an additional condition : Event Name matches REGEX page_view|purchase|....etc. Basically add all of the events you want to send to Meta separated by | (Pipe symbol ). Let me know if it's not clear

In web container- I have GA4 base tag and a FB pixel tag (browser side) In server side container I have a FB CAPI tag. And there is a client which is GA4. The CAPI tag has the trigger as client name equals GA4. Now what you are telling me to add another condition in the FB CAPI tag and tell the CAPI tag which events to send? For example, Add_to_cart|Purchase etc with regex match? correct me please. And thanks in advance man.
Hi! I set up everything, so I have GTM Web and Server container, GA4 and Facebook Data Sources with CAPI integration. My problem is that FB Data Source only receives the test events and my Overview tab is empty and it says: Your dataset hasn't received any activity. How can I fire events in production?
i have query can you please answer ? i have no option for GA4 configuration i have done setup through google tag. Now the problem is to send GA4 data to server container. How i can fix this issue ?
Hello Sultan, I have a problem, my GTM doesn’t show me the "Send to server container" option when creating the GA4 configuration Tag. Why could it be? Algo now is not called GA4 configuration, justo Google Tag. Could it be that it changed? And if it so, is a modification in hot to make this procedure?
