Outstanding. I especially love how you demystified the difference between a Custom Event and a Custom Conversion. Your overview WORD document was an excellent summary of the pages of Facebook info. You also demystified the "journey". I wasn't sure if firing the Pixel without having gone through the entire path to get to the event was required to record the Custom Event, or if just firing the Custom Event (as you did several times) would be sufficient. You literally answered every question I had in less than 15 minutes. AWESOME!!!

They must have changed the interface because when I look in the Ad Set settings, I only have the option to select "Website" as conversion event...not my custom conversion I set up. How do you set it up to work with the custom conversions now?

What are the Rules for your WatchVideo Custom Event? Can you create a Custom Event that tracks a user percentage of video view (similar to how facebook tracks it inside Facebook and Instagram), but in a web page? Awesome video man! Thanks a lot!

Lovely! The way this guy explained was awesome. For Standard Event, as mentioned Standard Conversions are created automatically. Can we go to AD set and run conversion ads after selecting Standard events from the drop down directly?

In the "Conversion Events" Dropdown i'am not able to choose events the only thing in the dropdown is the "All URL Traffic" thats all. Why is that?

Great video, as always. I feel like you forgot to mention something, though. How do you differentiate multiple custom events when they are similar? For example, how do you know if someone pressed the top button on your page and not a different button with a different CTA? Is there a way to tell the difference?

Hi Nathan, thanks for such a helpful video! One question I had was can a pixel event be set up to track video views? More specifically, if I have a youtube video embedded into my landing page and I want to track those that have viewed that video so I can set up retargeting ads to them is that possible? I have looked everywhere to see where I can add this but can't find it. I have other events set up but don't seem to be able to drill down the 'view content' event and identify that the content I want tracked is an embedded video. Thank you!

Quick question - I'm running ads for other companies as an agency, and so when I create a new custom event and conversion, and then select that conversion on an ad, I keep getting the message "This event hasn't been set up on any of your domains etc". This is easily fixed on my own accounts, but if I'm running ads for another business then I don't own the domain and so can't add the events to it. A lot of my clients are not tech savvy so it's always a pain to sort out. Have you encountered this problem? If so how are you dealing with it?! Thanks again for the great content!

Thanks for the training on this. Quick Question: If I have 3 separate funnels for 3 different services, and I'm using the lead conversion event, how will it know which to optimize for? I don't see where it separates the lead event from different pages. It kind of all clumps them all into one.

Hi, Love all your videos - when I select the FB Event Set up Tool and create an event - it lists it as a standard event and not a custom event. So then I can't create a Custom Conversion ... because the Custom event isn't there. Can you please point me in the right direction? another video that explains this? TIA
