Just saw Cameo Friday September 23 and this was like a dream come true. I've been a fan for ever and have had you in my playlist from tapes, to records, to CDs, MP3s and my streaming - but you are a MUST in my life soundtrack. I can't believe I got to see you LIVE for the first time!!!??? Still in awe.... and PS: that show killed me! i was DEAD TIRED from all the dancing. Honestly, I love you all for doing this for the fans!

Loved these guys ever since I saw them on BBC's TOTP - The way Larry was dancing and the were dancing in sync & Eyes right - They were great -They were something else ! Never seen them live though !

I'm a big fan of cameo. My cousin Scott and I did our karaoke thing one night. I was the backup dancing! we had everyone up and said you guys were really good. people came over to us and said to Scott man your cousin can dance.

Cameo is the funkiest group ever. They have the baddest horns i ever heard. When they stop using horns it took a lot out of their funk. They still was funky in the mid 80's. funk funk,rigor mortis,Attack me with your love,cameosis,one the one,feel me,sparkle,its over,why have I lost you,we're going out tonight,single life,post mortem,macho,it's serious,keep it hot,roller skate,candy and word up.most of those songs had the funky horns,a lot of horn stabs.funky base,drums,great harmony,creative sounds.they cut out the funky horns.bring back the horns.all the funk bands died when they kill the horns.watering down the sound,getting out of the pocket.THE DEATH OF FUNK.

I love Cameo!! Music is love!! When I first hear Rigor Mortis in the summer of 1976 that was a turning point in my life. Cameo reinvented funk music for the next generations to come.

I hate it that R&B/Funk bands don't the recognition they deserve until they have a hit that crossed over. Word Up great song we all love it. But I and WHOLE host of people of a certain group remember the Sparkle and Shake your Pants. Go listen to it. Hands down IN MY OPINION one of the most bad ass slow cuts ever made. I care for you, For You. I'm a slow jam junky.

I love Word up today like it was that first time in the parking lot of a huge black night club, we were waiting for a little something And that is where the meeting place was, and Word up came blasting out of the nightclub and I was blown away! We stayed for hours drinking with some nice girls and having the time of our lives !!!!!!
