Yeah, good comedy but this segment seems scripted. Its not as spontaneous as the other clips from him. The poet seemed like he was in on the act, unlike the rest of the participants.

Teacher did well... no BS from him and didnt play along with that shite. Saw right through it pay day or no pay day. So many people seem to put up with crap but this is the right attitude to have.
I'd say this prank backfired a bit on Novak. Put Postman Pat/Home n Away lyrics (he's American, he won't know em) and expect him to say how great it is (so we laugh at the teacher). Only he wasn't having any of it and even recognised that the last effort was song lyrics. He was too sharp, still funny though.
I suspect Kayvan Novak broke character in a clip not edited in. You can see him almost burst into laughter at 2:44. So poet Brian, knowing he was being played, wasn't going to have any of it.
