Vanessa Pereira, with a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Medical Informatics, has been at the forefront of innovation since the beginning of her career. Her journey began at Healthy Systems, where she focused on the security and interoperability of electronic health records, before she moved to Better, where she worked as a clinical modelling lead and informatics engineer, contributing significantly to the development of Pathfinder/ Better Portal and the openEHR platform.
Her dedication to openEHR is evident as co-chair of the openEHR Clinical Board. In 2022, Vanessa embarked on a new chapter in her career, joining the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) as a Digital Health Engineer, where she continues to drive innovation in clinical public research.
