Esty here, those extractions that have no head that are just small oil underneath the skin that isnt hardened milia doesn't need a needle to extract. Sounds like going in with guns blazing for no reason. The med spas have to be quick and aggressive because they rush the process due to time constraints$$$. That's the down side of a medi spa. No time to prepare the skin before extractions. Many times even a stubborn cystic acne site will mature and open up during the coarse of a facial saving weeks of anguish and drain to be extracted due to skin preparation. That's the key with extractions it's like giving birth thing need to happen first before things come out. No need to get aggressive especially if it's normal maintenance. As a guy i get facials once a month and It does make me look way younger. I avoid extractions due to sensitive skin and only do enzyme exfiolents to remove the blackheads.
