That last hand was an insane bluff. I think you made the right move folding, but damn, that was a good bluff for Steven.

I think you should bet more earlier. I think evertime you say to yourself i want to get my apponent to call me. The only way they are calling you is if they have the kind of hand you dont want them calling with. So either hope they value the potential of their hand and call you early or check and call your way to the finish line. You always seem to get torched unnecessarily. People are always calling you with air. Hell I'd probably call you with jack high myself 😂

So obv not anywhere near your cash level (and have been dabbling in and out for the past several years but just had some thoughts): 1) On the QJ Hand-I prob would've tried to blocker bet the river (put in for say 2/5, 1/3 size of the pot. THis way you might get to a showdown, or even if he raises it might still be a callable hand. Personally I think checking the river screamed weakness, and he bet the $5K to push you off the hand (add that they may know you've been having a rough day, so it makes it feel like you're vulnerable). 2) I also think the overbet on reverse (when you had second pair, or high card) prob was a bit too aggressive (and prob made him think you were trying to buy the pot, so he called anyways thinking he cold beat a bluff or weaker hand). I personally would've folded if I was him, but if I was you in that hand I prob would've bet a bit lower (again say 1/3, 2/5) almost make it seem like you "want" a call, and then this way he might fold (and then if he calls, you manage your loss). Overall though I like your channel and have picked up on some of the things you do well. Rooting for you on your comeback trail.
