Facing My DEEPEST Fears.... | Critical Depth 

I swear I hate water. I hate water levels in games, I hate dungeons in the water, I never took a shower in my life, so I thought I`d hate this game because of it. That being said, this honestly might be my favorite car combat game on the PS1. I know, it`s clunky, but I just love how much they tried to do with it, the objectives, the gigantic maps, the fact that you can jump out of the water and have a complete different feeling of where you are; I love it! I really wish they made a sequel for it on the PS2, it has so much character!

Some of the endings are straight up nightmare fuel, the Soviet Die-Hards ending stuck with me after all these years on how traumatising it was for me after my older brother finished the game and i watched.

This looks SO cool! I was reading about SingleTrac's catalogue of games; they also made Streak: Hoverboard Racing. There was another PS1 underwater scuba game (I played it on a demo disc back in the day). PS1 is -fantastic- for games with draw distance effects like fog, ocean abyss, etc.

This game looks very fun, and it's very unique. The similar games that comes to my mind are ace combat and star wars squadrons, being air plane/space ship vehicles. This is the first submarine combat game that I've seen, very cool. I wish there were more modern games like that

I think this game has better controls than most of the Twisted Metal games on PS1 it's actually pretty solid I never heard of it I got it in like 2020 and it's really fun but it might be the hardest car combat game ever made

I legit bought a factory sealed copy of this game for my birthday, best game ever apart from twisted metal in my books.

Now you should totally download the Dr. A. Pocalypse I made on 2k23 next time you play it. Also more Critical Depth content. The game is really goated

Wanna hear something fun? There are ZERO speedruns of this game. None I can find, anyway. I don't really know how official speedrunning works, but as far as I can tell, anyone could record themselves playing it to completion, post it, and then claim the world record. And it wouldn't matter how long it takes to finish the game or how badly you play, either. I just find that really funny. The bar is so low it's nonexistant, lol. Might make a fun gimmick if you ever feel like livestreaming this game, too. But as someone who played a lot of this as a kid, I can tell you to definitely look up a PDF of the instruction manual. Given the era Critical Depth is from, there is a LOT the game itself won't tell you ( like how to do the energy attacks, or Power Attacks as it calls them) because it assumes you read it.
