@@abugonapugonamugonarug1653 Play on a difficulty *below pro in career or “Fight now” mode single player, when you hole R2 or Right trigger on the ground, it will show you what direction to block transitions. That will get you used to defending it online when there is no direction indicator

@@jking6053 that’s cause he only plays to win. Never uses lower than a 5 star fighter and grapple cheese whenever possible. Watch and see Ricky let him up. He would’ve jumped on him if knocked down for the tko. If you’re a half decent player and know which fighters to pick you can get to div 20 like I did. Don’t try to use lower than 4 1/2 fighters and get good with that fighter.

I disagree buddy. I played UFC3 extensively too and I feel its just a matter of getting used to the changes. I actually struggled transitioning more between 2 and 3 than I did from 3 to 4. I dont think the ground game is broken, just different.

@@johnmassy1572 What do you disagree with? Rank mode needing to be revamped? My statement about UFC 3 ground and pound being better than UFC 4? I brought a lot of points up. You have to be a bit specific my friend. The transitions from UFC 3 to UFC 4 isn't difficult because its almost the same game lol. UFC 4 needs a lot of work before it can be remotely as good as UFC 3. UFC 4 has potential of being a wayy better game however changes needs to be made. You have to look at the game from the defensive point of view. UFC 4 gives almost no leeway for the fighter on the defensive end compared to UFC 3. Take the Clinch for example If you are put in the Clinch and your back is against the cage, there's not much you can do. You can't do a trip or a takedown, you cant even throw a strike, all you can do is move to get away from your opponent. UFC 3 on the other hand gives the fighter on the defensive end opportunity to land strikes, takedown, and even put their opponent backs against the cage instead. Now let's look at the ground game. I can easily score k.o in UFC four doing ground pound compared to UFC three. UFC 3 you were able to pull down the head of the posture of up fighter. Also guessing your opponent transition would give you an opportunity to do a reversal. UFC four you can get reversals but it is rare compared to UFC 3. Also the stack guard was very risky against a fighter with a counter submission in UFC 3. However in UFC 4 there is no submission counter. The offensive fighter can just punch non-stop score knockout. That element of fear of getting trap in a submission like UFC 3 is not present in UFC 4 UFC 3 ground and pound was even better. You had the ability to throw elbows, Hammer fist, hooks and straights. Pretending scoring K.o against your opponent who's back is on the mat because all they can do is block and sway, is not broken is a bit of a stretch. UFC 4 you can throw hooks and straights. Which makes the game feel very unrealistic and very limited. As of right now yes UFC 4 is not realistic and very limited for the time being. I believe UFC 4 will get better. But to disagree that I think UFC 3 is better than UFC 4 is a bit ludicrous.

I gotta agree stand up doesn’t feel as powerful or dangerous as UFC 3 and because of it people aren’t afraid to take that much damage because it always comes down to ground and pound
