This movie is the greatest collection of Holy Spirit inspired scenes and Ideas ... I agreed with everything that was in movie and two weeks later we adopted our first child .. then a second few years later .... like the song says at the end " with god all things are possible "
Wow....some of those scenes were absolutely amazing.....the ones at the end with the corrupt official...okay, I get trashign them....but talk about some hard choices on the others. I know that nobody in the movie is an actor.....Alex Kendrick (Coach Taylor) is the strongest....and Brock (not shown in any cut scenes) played his role amazingly......thanks for this.....I'd hate to have to decide what gets cut from this amazing movie.
1:03 I was very disappointed that D.J. Uiagalelei transferring to Florida State. That same Team who wins national title in Women's soccer than football team robbed in College football playoffs.
I went up to him and introduced myself and told him that I loved and enjoyed his movies. He gave me a very cold look and gave me the cold shoulder and brushed me off. It made very sad and lonely that night all because I was reaching out and being kind. I had no reason to be unkind at all. It really felt like and all who saw it like he was treating me like trash.
I am a Bible based, born again Christian. I thought the film was entertaining, inspirational and conveyed life lessons from a Biblical perspective. Nevertheless, I thought the film was extremely unrealistic. To wit, the coach in the film was constantly referring to Biblical passesages, expressing praise towards God, and initiating prayer. In real life, if someone were to do this within America’s public school system, he or she would be fired (unless this school was a Christian school which I did not detect in watching the movie). Also, this coach’s peers, i. e., fellow teachers/administrators - a number of them appeared to be mature, Christians, strong in the Lord who encouraged the coach spiritually. It’s like there was this very strong Christian element within this school. The reality is that the American public school system is highly liberal, hostile to anything related to Christianity,. Many Americans have come to recognize this and have placed their kids in Christian schools or decided to home school them. If there were such a real life figure like this coach in the movie, he would be in hostile territory within the public school system which would seek to eject him.
