A quick video guide to removing the middle row of seats in a Mazda Bongo and facing them to the rear. This also shows you how to retain the ability to slide the seats, without removing the tracks or seat rollers.
This is especially useful for people with rear kitchen conversions where the traditional methods of sliding the seats out of the rear of the van are not practical.
There are more comprehensive guides out there on this and better methods of ensuring you can keep the slide function when facing to the rear but this is easy to try.
You'll need:
Size 17 spanner or socket.
Crosshead screwdriver.
A drill with HSS drill bits (optional - if you want to drill a hole in the sliding rail).
An assistant to lift the seat with you.
About 30 minutes of free time.
