@@collinqu6654 Stop using injury as an excuse, he has to stop recording videos it's holding him back. Also he should work on his serve it's lacking, serving is 70% of the game. Look at Tsitsipas he has to work for every point then look at Kyrgios effortless games. If Felix can perfect his serve he will be a great player. Probably top 100. I recommend him not focusing on groundstrokes but just serving and getting consistency. Also don't learn how to serve from Mouratoglou.

I'm sure most of us have played the sport at some time in our lives and know how hard it is and how difficult it is to improve, stay consistent, and all the mental strength it requires. dude people criticize because they want to help see him win the ATP point. On a few posts I have given my thoughts on things he could do better. Thehy are just my ideas and I could be wrong but we are trying to help. For example I think he needs more of a gameplan going in to matches, also he doesnt seem to have aa winning mentality atleast by some of the language he uses when commentating and also basically just throwing that last point. Greats like rafa nadal would not basically give up match point down instead they would give their -100% no matter the point. I really want to see felix make it

Despite the loss still a good match; few errors. Clean convinced striking and tactically/mentally good. He just had a better serve. All close matches..

I forgot to add in a previous comment that there was another guy on RU-vid like you(Alex Donski) called operation lift off where he filmed his tennis journey. I think it took him a good 2 or so years of grinding away in futures qualies to get his first ATP Point but once he got that breakthrough, his career took off. I do believe he has an ATP Ranking now of around or just inside the top 500 in the world where he's enjoying a good career as a pro. I trully believe you can be top 500/400 minimum and your tennis journey will be a marathon and not a sprint. Keep trucking👍

You know I have had surgery in my knee and foot because of a physical disease, but I never stopped playing. Recently recovered from the knee surgery and your channel helps me to get trough it. (I don’t know if you’ve had a surgery yet) but it’s nothing to worry about, you’ll be back faster then you think, weeks are flying.

The bone thing you have growing in your tricep is called an ‘exostosis’ I believe. I had one in my knee and have finally had surgery to remove it 2 weeks ago! Great content!

Does anyone know if u can get to Felix's level if u are not as tall? Cuz height seems quite important in tennis, and im 177cm and it does not seem like enough to reach this power on the serve

Trust into your abilities. Look at Diego Schwartzman - he is 16 in the world and 1.70. Yes it helps to be tall - but these players often focus only on their serve..the rest of the game is not that good. Players like Diego are more complete as they have to compensate for not having a massive serve....so get going and keep the positive vibes! let me know how you get on ;-)

I played a match, serving for the set (5-4); and was up 15-0. I hit a winner to go up 30-0 but I lost my dampener (it flew off). Long story short I completely lost my concentration bc that was my only dampener and ending up losing the set. I FEEL YOUR PAIN re; loss of concentration! Tennis is such a mental sport. Though I do wonder though: you are very fast and in shape. Have you taken into consideration that your opponents might get gassed more quickly than you? That guy was TALL and I’m thinking his tank was getting low while you looked fresh late in the second set!

Felix don't mind the hate comments saying you should play lower level tournaments. Because you're competing with players who are ranked at atp level and doing pretty well. Hopefully by 2023 you can get surgery on your arm and then I think you will improve alot best of luck

The people I have seen say that were trying to say it will help him get more match practice , nadal or djokovic often play lower tournaments like 250s to warm up for big tournaments like masters or slams

@@funnyduck4568 true but in order to be a better player and improve you have to play against better players like for example jannik sinner he didn't play juniors wich he was able to play instead he played futures. And he was losing much more than felix but he didn't give up instead he persisted on playing tougher opponents and now he is a top 10 player.

Felix in these highlights I put attention that you twice successfully lobbed your opponent but while he was running back to reach the ball you stayed on the back line and did not go to the net and that enabled the opponent to hit this ball defensively back and neutralize the rally.

yep, I think he needs to work on his tactics a bit more, like for example federer or nadal will take every chance they get to put opponent in a difficult situation and at chances like that they dont sit back they attack. Also I feel like Felix needs to work on his mentality, for example in this vid some of the language like "not much I could do" and more made me feel like he wasn't giving 100% effort all the time. Anyways thats just my take I could be wrong.

Hi Felix, I follow your channel for a year now and I love your videos and I really believe in your path of improvement. You have a fantastic game very complete, the only thing in my opinion in some cases you should try to get closer to the net ( thanks to your great touch), in this case maybe with some longline slice and maybe try to make it bend more. In close matches in a high level like that a lot of Times one only point is the key of the match! That ball you called out and the umpire didn’t make you out of your mind and unfortunately miss the concentration and lost the match. I know its difficult but always try to stay focus and have a very strong mental thats the most important thing in Tennis
